Alex Ferguson had character. He played father figure to most if not all the players. Players looked up to his guidance because they respected and feared him yet loved him. So that's what a father is in most cases. He's loved, he's respected and someone to be feared if crossed. I think Pep and Klop perhaps are viewed in similar way to some extent. He’s gotta be the most disrespected England National Team Manager of all time. People seem to forget what an absolute mess England were before he joined, we was losing to the likes of Iceland. Failing to qualify for the Euros under McLaren, we went through years and years of terrible managers and performances. Southgate brought back the feel good factor, he’s taken us further in tournaments than any other manager besides Alf Ramsey. The players actually want to play for England and they all get along! People seem to think if we appoint another manager we start winning things, it doesn’t work like that. We’ve had much better managers than Southgate for England and they failed terribly! The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Southgate is a perfect fit for England.
