Hi Tiffany, I’m so happy that your Dad is with you! I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for him and my heart breaks for him. 💔. I hope it’s healing to be around you and your energy because it’s so much like your mother’s! It’s is so nice you have each other. It was also fun seeing Jake’s 4-man push-up! That looks really hard, and he and his group did really well! And thank you for lovingly showing all of your sweet fur babies… they are so sweet! I lost my Mom back in October 2022, and I shed a few tears last night as I commented on a video about how kids don’t appreciate their parents’ stuff. I luckily had the opportunity to curate her stuff and ask her questions about where things came from and why they’re important to her. I grew up in poverty, so she didn’t have beautiful glass or anything, but every cereal box giveaway, every new clearance item (Halloween, Christmas, Easter decoration, crafting item, etc.) went into her collection. I was surprised at how much I made from selling her stuff! But, what I’ll remember the most are the stories she told about things going on around the time of her getting items, out the people with her, or how it reminded her of a story from her childhood. I learned so much about her then!

I love Bear and Rio's synchronized head tilts. They made LOL! I had a German Shepherd/Chow mix. She looked like a GS, but was the size of a Chow. She was the best girl ever. I lost her just after I lost my dad in 2012. Miss her so much! Now I have a beautiful Norwegian Forest Cat. He's a great company and an even better cuddler. 🙂

Cobalt blue is my favorite! Normally the inexpensive vases are about $1 at my thrift store. I like to add a big bunch of flowers and give for birthday gifts or for someone who's ill. Of course I have my own collection, too, which I like to display with milk glass.

I would touch up those screws with gold Rub and Buff, gold paint or even nail polish. If you are replacing the screws again, a bit of wood glue on the screw threads will help them hold. And a bit of your mineral oil to give the box a low gloss sheen would be pretty, too!

Just use the gold/brass color Rub 'n Buff on the screw heads and along both sides of the hinges if needed. No need to buy new screws. I keep all colors of Rub 'n Buff handy for various metal repairs.

What a nice calm and peaceful video to listen and learn from, I wish you could have been my third grade teacher, I could 9:30 have enjoyed learning much more without being tense and nervous. PS do you pick out a box for each item you find and then number and store them so you can grab them and send sold items on the way?
