People act like it's Saquon Barkley's fault that the NFL added a 17th game to the NFL schedule when the reality is Barkley would be over 2000 yards if he didn't choose to sit out the 4th quarter against the Giants earlier in the season and if Jalen Hurts was allowed back in the game against the Commanders. Barkley literally had 109 yards and 2 TDs after the 1st quarter of the Commanders game.

With Pickett as QB, Barkely needs to be the star. Smith, Brown, and Calcaterra have the receiving locked up. But Barkley will be the guy that forces opposing teams to lay off of our receivers in order to stop Barkley. Don't bubble wrap Barkley even if it IS the smart move. Nah, it's because it's the only individual record in the NFL anyone remembers, with the possible exception of sacks. Passing records are meaningless, because they get broken every other year (rules changes and extra games). No one cares about kicking records or interceptions.
