I know that Pickett will start and I’m sure he will do perfectly fine. He played good enough to win last week despite being tossed in with Jalen’s scheme, but you cant blame me too much for my curiosity in Tanner. Although he has no starting experience, he has a quick release and solid throw that I would enjoy seeing tested out. Given it’s the preseason, he seemed to be dominant when Kenny began to stall. If we get the win here, I would enjoy seeing him play week 18.

everyone looks great against backups-practice squad players. thats the part everyone seems to be missing about McKee. and i think he's a good prospect for development, but that doesn't mean he's ready for NFL playoff-caliber snaps. It wasnt the offensive line's fault that the team offense couldnt get anything going. Play design was the problem. You cant run every single play out of the shotgun. Shotgun is a passing down formation. But because Jalen likes to run out of the shotgun the entire offense is held back from being deceptive and getting the most out of each possession. Credit to Saquon Barkley for making the most out of those shotgun runs. Hopefully Kellen Moore is allowed to run his real offense under center that promotes motion, matchups and getting guys free with quick hitters and getting the ball out of the quarterback's hands. Very interested in what Kellen Moore's offense looks like without Hurts holding on to the ball too long. I thought Tanner McKee was going to get his shot but maybe Hurts watching the offense move with quicker decisions will inspire him.
