Yeah I'm not gonna lie, if you're only a street gang who are good at street brawling and you aren't affiliated with *any* villain in Gotham city, chances are: 1. You'll get your ass beat by Batman. 2. You'll get your ass beat by a bat family member (unless you run into a couple of Batman related friends & loved ones who like to use guns, whether they're lethal rounds or not). 3. Your entire gang's gonna get crushed by some random Batman villain faction and worst case scenario, if they don't kill you they'll force you to work for them. 4. Your gang's going to "accidentally" inspire a brand new Gotham city vigilante who may or may not start killing bad guys (or those they deem as bad guys) before Batman takes them down and if they themselves don't get killed by a Batman villain, they'll end up getting trained by Batman or one of his friends to become a better hero/person. 5. You'll all probably die anyway the next the Joker or some other Batman villain plans on destroying Gotham city by using biological weapons, super soldiers, robots, monsters or sometimes literal demons/ghosts of people who have died in Gotham city.

Goro Majima from the cut scenes is a very different power level from gameplay Majima. Through the entire series, the most deadly thing is a cut scene bullet. You could have a helicopter firing a minigun at you gameplay wise, and take fifteen shots, roll out of the way, down an energy drink, and be A-OK. Cut scene? One gunshot can end a character, so long as he has time to give a dramatic speech first. Now, would Majima from cut scenes win? Probably. He STILL gets into massive fights, and is smart, and talented at everything. But at least it would be a more reasonable match up.

Something to think about cutscene gunshots. They'll get shot and the next scene they are completely fine. Go on to fight an entire building of people before fighting the main boss while healing from multiple gunshots or still having it lodge in them. I can confirm this. Majima in yakuza 0 was running the biggest cabaret in sotembori for I believe a few years and then he helped a club that was struggling to become one of the greatest club in the entire city. In later games he also created majima construction

And what's making him less of an opponent to Batman - Majima doesn't hurt civies, unless they would attack him. Meaning he would not let anyone in his gang attack the civillains or do other shit like that. Sure, he may do some smuggling, underground illegal activities like making illegal arena and shit, but at the same time he would be doing lot of charity projects and rebuilding infrustructure. Goro would more or less ground the criminal activity to a less volatile state and Batman would definetly want to keep it going further down. Though, he would be suspicious of what Majima is doing and, considering Batman's potential and capabilities and whole superhero stuff - Majima would be fucking enjoying any meeting with him, especially because of how similar he is to Kiryu in some ways. So not only Majima would try to be buddies with him, he may offer the same Majima everywhere system as a way to help Batman get just as overpowered as Majima is.

@@Jamlord2061 No, and that really doesn't matter. He's durable enough to be smashed through huge concrete walls and get up like it's nothing multiple times in multiple different suits. He's fast enough to clear an entire room of trained soldiers before they can even react. In terms of strength, he's easily able to harm superhumans who can tank point blank file explosions, can survive being hit full speed by the Batmobile into the water, can survive massive amounts of electricity etc.

Agent 47 is so good at disguising himself he can essentially steal any of the villains' or their goons' outfits and nobody will be able to tell he isn't who he's dressed as until they get close enough. Agent 47 could literally run around in *Harley's* outfit, and people would think he was Harley until he did enough things to make them suspicious of him or he was literally standing right in front of them.

yeah Agent 47 in Arkham is very, *very* interesting... And would quite frankly be a really fucking cool questline. I feel that it would be one of those things where over the entire game there's a series of murders that Batman slowly comes to realize that, despite wildly different MOs (honestly this'll be the thing that will throw Batman for a while. Each of the villains of Batman really only do things a certain way, with at most variations on a theme. What makes Agent 47 such a *MASTER* assassin is the sheer number of ways he knows how to kill someone, obviously or not.), are all the same person and gradually scrape together enough clues to track Agent 47 down. And yeah, as to taking down Agent 47? I think the thing that comes most to mind is the Mr. Freeze fight, he won't be able to come at Agent 47 head on, and Agent 47 is going to be doing his damnedest to counteract every approach Batman could make so it would be trying to find one thing Agent 47 momentarily overlooks, get a hit in then get out before Agent 47 can respond. Kinda gonna be both sides playing a game of cat and mouse. I do agree that Batman would most likely be able to take Agent 47 in... but for that version of Batman? Absolutely the hardest case of the game, both as a detective and a boss fight.

It’s shown in the game that the building shook on it’s own before the punch was thrown but even if the Earthquake assisted Majima’s punch still cracked the ground and was the blow that actually caused the destruction. A normal punch couldn’t have even assisted the earthquake’s destruction of that floor.

He works for the ICA and they provide him with the contracts, and most of the contracts they get are from government agencies and big players, and even if Joker, Penguin or some other Gotham criminals somehow got on the ICA contract list, 47 gets to pick and choose what contracts to take. It would be more likely that 47 would be hired by the US government or some entity to kill one or several of the criminals in Gotham. It is possible that Batman may be unhappy about this arrangement since 47 would be killing at least one person, and they may even fight over the matter, but it is possible that he would not be able to take on 47 since 47 would be working for the government.

I don't think your giving 47 enough credit, I'm by no means an expert on the Hitman series but here is what I know (Prepare for a VERY long explanation): 47 has a reputation as a silent assassin, this is a status you get in the modern games for completing a mission with no traces, no witnesses, bullet casings which means no firearms used. You can take out targets in ways that make them look like accidents like getting them to electrocute themselves or slip on a banana peel and fall off a balcony. You can even get someone else to kill the target for you in some missions. 47 can also knock out people and disguise himself in their clothes. In Arkham City's case, 47 could easily disguise himself as a Joker, Two-Face, or Penguin guard. Especially if the outfit comes with a mask. He could even pull off passing as a TYGER guard. Batman took down Deadshot because in Batman's own words: He got sloppy. Deadshot kept leaving clues at each murder scene allowing Batman to eventually home in on one of his weapons staches which also contained a record of every contract he was hired to kill as well as a schedule for when each kill would happen. 47 wouldn't be caught dead with such obvious evidence such as that. 47 wouldn't, in most cases anyway, have a bunch of weapon storages all over Arkham City with a schedule for when he was going to kill each target. He usually walks into each mission with easily concealable weaponry so he wouldn't need an entire armory in the location he's commencing the mission at. If 47 plays his cards right, and he is every bit the master assassin he's supposed to be, he can take out all his targets without Batman even suspecting they were happening in the first place. Or, through disguise, pin it on one of the other gang factions. Having Deadshot present also makes for a possible scapegoat for the murders, keeping Batman's attention on Deadshot while 47 can focus on his own targets. Of course, the biggest factors to consider is: Who the target(s) are, and who is hiring 47: I could see Hugo Strange hiring 47 to take out the criminal leaders to soften things up for Protocol 10. The targets would be Penguin, Two-Face, possibly Joker (He is dying at the time and Strange is aware of this based off the tape interviews), possibly Harley Quinn, possibly Poison Ivy, Bane, and Mr. Freeze. Mayor Sharp as well, though that may be overkill since he's already a dead man walking in a place like Arkham City. Batman is also a possibility, but maybe Strange would want to take him out himself, after all, that is what TYGER was trained for. (And a lot of good that did them.) Using the skills I just mentioned, he could easily take out Two-Face depending on the timing, if right after Batman leaves the courthouse (We'll assume he starts his mission the same time Batman enters Arkham City), it'll be easy pickings since he's all tied up. Undo the rope holding him up and drop him into the acid (prolonged exposure might even disintegrate the bones leaving no trace.) Joker might be better off being ignored for reasons previously mentioned, and possibly Harley Quinn if Strange doesn't think she's worth the time of day. Also, Batman would definitely take notice of 47 if he took out the Joker. Bane and Ivy are a bit trickier, simply because of terrain and that is going to be 47's hardest challenge, running from point A to point B all over Arkham City. The city is partially flooded, but somehow the gangs are getting all around so if they can somehow do it than 47 can as well. If he is under employ of Strange, then he might just get a ride on a TYGER chopper from point A to B. Once he can get to them however, gunshot to the head ought to do it. I'm not sure if 47 would be immune to Ivy's pheromones, but he is a super soldier, so I'm going to say he'd be fine. Penguin and Freeze will be the trickiest due to Penguin turning the Iceberg Lounge into a fortress. Through disguise he could get close enough to kill Penguin and depending on timing, kill Freeze and get out before Batman even shows up, which brings us to our biggest factor: The Batman. Depending on when 47 tries to take out each target, he could run into Batman, which, in this case would be game over. I agree that Batman would win in the fight due to likely being a better fighter, superior armor, and gadgets. As mentioned before, 47 will want to take out each target while Batman is busy with something else. Assuming Strange, TYGER security, and/or the lady that he gets his missions from are feeding him info on Batman and his target's whereabouts throughout the night... Then he would takeout Two-Face while Batman is at the Steel Mill going after Joker. Go after Joker/Harley/Poison Ivy/Bane while Batman is infiltrating the Iceberg Lounge. Sometime after this, Batman would probably pick up on the news of someone assassinating the super criminals in Arkham City. I'm pretty sure however, that you can't complete Deadshot's side quest yet at this point in the story so he may suspect it to be Deadshot instead. After Batman goes into the sewers to go after Ras Al Ghul for the cure, 47 can get into the lounge, thank Batman for clearing out security, and gun down the officers and the trapped Penguin. Depending on the timing, Penguin might be all by himself near the front of the museum while the officers are isolated in the Lounge, allowing 47 to just take out Penguin alone with no witnesses. That just leaves Mr. Freeze. This is the most critical moment for 47, because at this point, Batman will know that Freeze is a likely target, and this will probably be the point in the story where both characters are converging on Freeze. 47 can't get to him first because of the frozen doorway, so he has to wait until presumably Freeze moves to the building where Nora is after Batman locates her. If Joker and Harley are dead at this point, the story changes in ways I can't predict, and Batman might spend the extra free time going after 47. It's possible the two might get caught up in the start of Protocol 10, Strange would not hesitate to throw 47 under the bus so possible game over for them. If strange has 47 ignore Joker and Harley, then first off, 47 gets extra time to take out Ivy and Bane, or even disguise himself as a Penguin thug, infiltrate the Lounge and possibly take out Penguin AND Freeze early while Batman is at the Steel Mill. We have to consider what order he decides to take out the targets in, 47 is a master of improv after all. Maybe then he could take out Joker and Harley while Batman is still trying to get into/go through the Lounge and then it's a simple walk out of Arkham City, assuming Strange will let 47 walk away after making Protocol 10 a lot easier. As for Catwoman, yeah, I could see her being a target, but she's never in the same place long enough for 47 to get to her unless she was tied up with Ivy at the time 47 went to kill Ivy, she might have been tied up upside down for hours given how long it takes to get back to her in the story. Given that Catwoman is just as skilled as a combatant as Batman, and possibly Ivy backing her up, this could be a very hard challenge for 47. Of course, this is all assuming 47 would even be able to reach his targets in the no doubt long time it would take to traverse Arkham City on foot in the 10+ hours the story takes place during. If he has little or no support from TYGER assuming he's even hired by Strange, then he may be better off just going after Two-Face and Penguin and leaving the rest to Protocol 10. Forgot about Clayface, further reason not to go after Joker, doubt 47 would even know about him and have literally no way of taking him out. Yeah, he’s better off avoiding Joker’s territory all together, otherwise gets buried by Clayface or a Joker who mysteriously soaks up bullets. Zsasz and Hatter aren’t even worth mentioning.

Oh yeah, if 47 kills Freeze, he’ll indirectly kill Joker and Batman due to them lacking the cure Freeze makes! But there is no way 47 would have that info going in as it wouldn’t even happen to Batman until during the mission. I think his biggest and likely targets would be the gang leaders, so Two Face and Penguin. Nobody is really paying attention to Ivy, even Batman gives her a wide berth. Joker is 50/50 with him falling to Clayface or Batman if he goes around the Steel Mill. Better off just leaving him be to his fate.

Agent 47 vs Arkham Batman could go a lot of ways, but it most likely would not happen at all, because the only scenario where he would even try to kill Batman is if he was hired to, and Diana, 47's handler and friend who he allows to select contracts for him, would probably reject the contract on his behalf because she holds similar vigilantistic ideals to Batman. If, for some reason (perhaps Arkham Batman's tendency to put people in wheelchairs or comas for committing just about any crime), Diana accepted the contract, 47 would have a lot of options: Let's start with how he could try to kill Batman while he's in the batsuit. In close combat, 47 could hold his own, given that he is a masterful martial artist, but Batman's gadgets would quickly overwhelm him. However, 47 is not John Wick; he is far more discreet. He would not engage Batman in open combat, because he knows that he would lose in that scenario. Most likely, he would not attempt anything at close range due to Batman's detective mode vision. He would probably not try using firearms either, given Deadshot's repeated failures. Honestly, I imagine that he would be "subtle," by which I mean he would set up traps. Batman doesn't have detective mode on all the time, and all it takes is for him to walk past one dumpster full of C4 or walk into a building whose ventilation system has been filled with poison gas for 47 to kill him. However, if Batman knew 47 was coming, he would probably win. Now, if 47 finds out that Bruce Wayne is Batman (and I suspect he could figure that out rather easily, just like Bane did), then Batman is doomed. Even if Batman knows he is a target and knows 47 has discovered his identity, there is nothing he can do to stop him, short of having Robin and/or Nightwing follow him as bodyguards and Oracle monitor him everwhere he goes. Whether it's a poisoned glass of wine at a charity event, a sniper rifle bullet to the head as he takes a walk, or an incredible, unforseeable "accident" of some kind, 47 would eventually find a way to take Batman out if he ever left Wayne Manor again. Even if Batman caught 47, it would make no difference, because 47 would effortlessly escape from jail or prison and try again, and he would not make the same mistakes twice. Honestly, though, I'm not sure Batman would even try to hunt 47 down unless he became a target himself, because 47 is essentially just a very lethal and well-paid vigilante at this point in the series, and Batman only seems to hold himself and the Batfamily to the no-kill rule. Furthermore, Arkham Batman only seems to care about events that occur in Gotham, so I can't imagine him abadoning Gotham to hunt down one assassin for killing people who are all objectively evil (arms dealers, serial killers, and corporate lawyers, to name a few).

I honestly don't think Batman would be able to find a lore-accurate Agent-47. Especially if he's on a hit. 47 is renown for being a ghost. The only way to get one up on him is if he is betrayed by his current agency. The one way i see them actually going toe to toe is a random encounter, the thing that would tip the fight between these two is Batman's tech/gadgets. I kind of agree that if 47 was hired to kill Batman it would be difficult for him depending heavily on the information given. Though if 47 was hired to kill Bruce Wayne that'd be a different story altogether, ending with one very dead Bruce Wayne.

For added context. In Hitman: Blood Money. One of the final missions has 47 infiltrating the White House to unalive the vice president. Throughout the rest of the series he repeatedly gets into places even MORE heavily guarded than that. He could unalive someone and nobody would ever know it was murder. How long you think a Predator would last in Gotham? Going off a starting assumption it does not show up hunting Batman, and has a few days to do it's thang before the kills start drawing attention from Bat Family, or maybe one of the asylum loons. Hell, maybe keep the capes/supers/metas out of it, and just see how long it takes the mafia-esque crime families of Gotham deal with the alien preying on them.
