I actually do not think this warrants a response video, in fact I believe that this actually warrants a sequel with only characters like Mizu The thing about mortal kombat is that because of how it’s structured you get WAY MORE out of interaction than you do the actual fights… so low level characters like Mizu make this incredibly interesting by having the story tie in her own plot and we can find out what they get out of the tournament

Its important to note that Mizu isnt perfect. She routinely gets injured and outright loses a few times, but pushes through the pain and injuries to make it to the season's conclusion. But yeah, the show is absolutely dope. At least a 8 or 9 out of 10. Minimum.

The weirder question for Aang would be whether or not Shao Kahn might go after the Spirit World as sort of a backdoor into the human world. While there are some powerful Spirits, they're not all fighters, and they might not be super willing to unite to compete in the Mortal Kombat tournament and prevent the Outworld invasion. From there, all Shao has to do is find a way to open the spirit portals, and suddenly, he has a much easier way to invade "Earth" should he do that loophole bullshit he did in the original games where he could invade without winning the tournament.

I always thought that Mortal Kombat was, even way back in the beginning, a series of excuses for people to fight each other. Even the storyline back in the day was never really the focus as far as I could tell. It was about coming up with new ways for characters (old and new) to eviscerate each other in progressively more derranged ways. Even the new games have that as a philosophy. "How creatively can we rip these characters into ground beef?" And "What new or old characters can we bring in to do that?" This isn't even the first time the series did a reset for the events. Like how in MK9, Raiden was given a future vision of Shao Khan killing Blaze, taking all the plot powers, and annihilating everyone. The vision MK9 Raiden got was every game that happened up until Shao Khan's ending in Mortal Kombat Armageddon. I love Mortal Kombat. It's dramatic, brutal, silly, and even has some heartfelt moments scattered around it like cookie chunks in a cookie dough milkshake. But anyone who expects the storyline to make coherent sense or have cohesive story elements for longer than one or two games in a row (maaaybe three if we push it) is probably really really REALLY drunk. XD Odds are good that in the future, there will be yet another reset or reboot for the Mortal Kombat franchise. Old faces will return, new faces will be introduced, and characters/faction lore will be tinkered with yet again. Mortal Kombat is like the Madden of fighting games if they had slightly more development time. Lots of minimal changes over time, the ocassional "All new and all different!" release, and then minimal changes from that until it all repeats again. XD

Wrong on multiple accounts. Yes he can breathe in space he’s done it more than once, the fatalities constantly show characters doing ridiculous shit they can’t actually do in the story of the game (turning people into babies, Growing larger than planet earth, turning into a dragon, etc) I mentioned this in the video, characters like Shinnok are shown to be defeated by regular mortal beings all the time despite their elder god status (he’s been beaten by Johnny Cage and Liu Kang) Kronika a character who is said to be superior to the elder gods has been canonically defeated by literally every character on the roster even characters like Kano who died to a gunshot. In short mortal Kombat is inconsistent as shit and you’re ignoring the times these characters are shown to be weak as fuck and choosing to only focus on the strongest feats that directly conflict with the story of the games.

Except Aang. I feel like he's gonna get cheap shotted by somebody he tried to spare.

I think it would have been better if you used the midway timeline because If I'm right it's a bit more consistent then the neather relays games and the villian are also better and threatening then neather relams games but that's my opinion Good video tho👍
