Hot take: the Reaper corruption might not be that slow to other universes, the ME universe has gone through countless cycles of Reapers coming through and leaving only the lifeforms that are most resistant to their very presence, so the entire universe could have evolved a resistance to it. If that applies to the demons' corruption as well, ME might be in a significantly better place. They also are (I believe) the universe with the most potent knowledge of biological warfare, something the demons haven't dealt with, and the demons need at least some of their biological bits otherwise they would already have gone full robot by now. If the Turians go full scorched earth on the demons, which they would when push comes to shove, the demons could be significantly weakened, if not killed, almost as soon as they spawn. Now, the demons have shown they are extremely proficient with bio-modding, but that's only on themselves. They would eventually modify themselves enough that the original bioweapon would no longer work on them, but if I can predict that, the Turians definitely can as well, so it would become a biological arms race to try to keep making new, effective bioweapons for the rest of eternity. So not a win, but an eternal stalemate until the Reapers themselves come in and fuck everything up. They don't strike me as the type to play nice with their original races just because the demons are in town.

The main problem I see is that it's canon that Astartes can be corrupted... not all of them, but corrupted space marines, and chaos marines do exist, so being able to corrupt a number of Space Marines would give the Doom Universe quite a big advantage. Not only neutralizing a large number of their best fighters, but turning them to their side. Necrons seem like they would be also easy to corrupt. Granted, they don't have souls, but I feel like the Necrons would just join the demons by default.

Doomguy in the og trilogy 1,2,64 closed the portal that allowed the demons to attack his og universe thats why in the end of 64 he got stuck in hell for ages until he was found by the sentinels who did their own universe traveling. It was told in the intermissions of doom 2 that all of surviving humanity left earth in huge spaceships and Doomguy was alone with the demons but was relieved and thinking of killing himself but then he got hope that he could win and went back to hell to kill the icon of sin. Really if we think about it og Doomguy was exactly like serious sam from the video and he won, he didnt have magic healing or super strength. I should also bring up the doom 3 alternate universe with its dlc resurrection of evil yeah one main character had the soul cube and did damage to the hell army but the dlc guy had that heart which all it did was slow down time and make you stronger which sounds alot like the cyberpunk augments and he killed vetruger which stopped the invasion and there was no cliffhanger so the doom 3 universe is safe. I think even the doom movies were saved but I probably shouldnt bring those up.

I haven't played EDF other than at an arcade a looooooong time ago, so I wouldn't know about that. But, in DOOM ETERNAL lore it is stated that the only way to keep the stronger Titans from just regenerating from death is the Doom Slayer's Crucible Sword, and even that is only stopping them from getting up is if the blade remains in them. Which is why, in DOOM 2016, it is stated as being so unfathomably horrifying to the demons that the Doom Slayer could kill the Strongest Titan, barring the Icon of Sin, with his bare hands while inside Hell. So, while I don't know enough about the god the EDF killed in their lore to give a proper opinion on that, I don't know if the EDF has anything that could permanently kill the Icon of Sin or do it fast enough that the Icon of Sin doesn't become a black hole that consumes the entire universe and brings it back into Hell itself.

@sherrisnyder689 Don't discount the other machines, the stray + mindflayer terminal entry on top of the lore of the terminals, swordsmachines, ect, the machines are very adaptive. This is useful since the demons in DOOM don't bleed normal blood (Though it is an energy source) which among the obvious makes the rocket launcher weapon basically just a standard kinetic weapon. It's unclear if any of the machine's weapons would be good enough to harm DOOM demons (Bounces off of Hideous Mass stone, but the stone of demons in Ultrakill seem abnormal + the same weapons can also damage machines which are metal). So really, every machine is needed to give the machines time to adapt to give a good fight, assuming the machines would even be able to get argent. The two prime souls we know about who seem like the best candidates in terms of physical power besides maybe the Earthmovers (Who are deep in hell, though that probably isn't an issue for DOOM demons who could just teleport there) are dormant in flesh prisons. The DOOM demon's souls simply going back to their universe may instead become Husks, which would be really funny. That would open up the avenue of the stronger DOOM demons becoming Prime Souls due to their importance and that alone could be the end for the Ultrakill universe, since the Prime Souls seem to retain sapience and memories.

For instance CotL is introducing a new character The Goat who has all the powers of the Lamb which will make that survival challenge much harder but I won’t bring it up till it officially releases. The thing about Serious Sam is that while the weapons are as normal as they could be, even they could possibly take down even the tougher demons such as the DOOM Hunter and the Cyberdemon with the help of the gadgets you find in Serious Sam 4/Siberian Mayhem. There's also the possibility of Mental seeing Davoth and Jekkad as a threat to him too and causing him to break a deal with humanity in order to drive them out. Sam (and his comrades too, in multiplayer) is also shown to be capable of performing Glory Kills against Mental's Horde with the help of the Sirian Artifacts of Might (S.A.M. for short), which are similar to the Argent orbs you find in DOOM 2016, not to mention they could also help recover health & ammo or become more resistant to the energy attacks of the Demonic Horde via said tools. There's also the upgrades to the weapons you get in 4/Siberian Mayhem, some are basic, like the Grenade Launcher attachments for the shotguns, but also there's upgrades like the guided missiles from the rocket launcher, which can load up to 5 rockets and aim up to 5 different enemies at once. Not to mention the secret weapon you get halfway through the main game, the FRPCL, which fires a self-guided rocket with a chainsaw strapped to it, capable of tearing apart enemies, no matter how tough, in seconds, which could do well against the demons in the battlefields of DOOM Eternal.

I would love to see Lo Wang (both Classic and Reboot) be put into a future video against Doom Demons because Lo Want deals with demons just like Doomguy (well Yokai by the time of Shadow Warrior 3) and he has even killed the heart of a Dragon in Shadow Warrior 3 not to mention his Nobitsura Kage from the first game would be useful against Doom demons since it works on Shadow Warrior demons and ancients. He also has chi/ki powers, demonic guns, ki enhanced guns, ki/chi tech swords and guns and many many different swords with a couple of them being lightsaber like and one of them even being made out of Hoji’s mask (which he somehow turned back into a mask by the time of Shadow Warrior 3). Also in the third game he fought a Giant F@cking Dragon that almost froze the entire Earth and according to Zilla basically made it uninhabitable. Also thanks to Shadow Warrior 3 basically being Asian Doom Eternal with him even having his own version of Glory Kills called Gore weapons where he rips apart of a demon and using their own body parts or weapons against them and a wrist grapple hook you can actually have him do similar things to the Slayer. Plus it would be cool to see Lo Wang rip off a Doom Hunter’s canon and use it as a Gore weapons similar to the demons from his respective third game

If the infantry weapons in mass effect were to fire at even 1% of lightspeed no one would be able to react to being hit before they drop dead even with kinetic barriers. The infantry weapons fire at supersonic speeds as what makes the infantry weapons better compared to modern infantry weapons is that they are lighter and collapsible. The ship weapons fire at 2% lightspeed every 5 seconds.

Fun video but few mass effect things, cryo rounds are very common and can freeze an eight foot 700lb krogan solid in seconds like subzero, mixing that with lava blood would probably suck, there are explosive weapons in every class pistol to shotguns, venom shotgun and the krysae sniper rifle were always my favorites turning enemys into chunks of meat, ships can absolutly do ftl in mass effect outside of the relay i see most calcs go to around 30ftl the relay can just shoot you across the galaxy in hours, biotics use dark energy to warp gravity but can also use it to make explosions like flare or melt through armor/ skin with warp, they can also use annialation feild which passively rips anything apart that gets to close to the biotic, and a sovereign class reaper is over 2 kilometers and mass masseffect feilds capable of surviving exploding stars and black holes, idk how a 1000ft tall doom titan is going to "One shot" them they also don't destroy planets because they want new life to pop up to make more cylces, if they wanted to end all life forever mass effects story would have ended 50 million years ago. The krogan and the rachni were both said to use weaponized asteroids to destoroy planets and they are far from peak mass effect tech, the reapers could 1000% destroy a planet if that was their goal, if theres just a portal on earth and mars the demons don't stand a chance, if their able to bring the whole hell dimesions forces to bare it might be a different story, still don't know how their taking out reapers in space, sorry for the rant gotta prop up my team though.

We gotta examine Samus Aran and the Metroid universe next. Samus is basically the Doomguy of Nintendo, seriously these characters and their lore are very similar and Samus is also an ultimate destroyer when she's at her fullest power in her suit. Like the Chozo's weapons and technology and magic are specifically just supremely overpowered in the level of devastation they can wreak and the only reason their empire fell was from their people becoming sterile and unable to reproduce and eventually they mostly died off. The rest of the Metroid universe may or may not be able to do anything against the invasion of hell, neither the Galactic Federation nor the Space Pirates command anywhere near the level of power the Chozo had at their height so it'd really be just Samus most likely. The X Parasites also could be a significant threat to the demons as well, in the Metroid universe, the X represented an existential threat to all life in the universe that the Chozo deemed it necessary to create another existential threat to all life (the actual Metroids themselves) in order to fight the X The Chozo, taken at the height of their power and empire, I would wager probably did have the right combination of military might, technological know-how, and occult/psychic understanding that they could absolutely defeat the armies of Doom's Hell without a doubt, but it may take everything they have and it wouldn't be an easy or quick fight. (And yes, they have the ability to do something like this but they somehow canonically can't figure out how to fix reproductive infertility apparently XD)

Samus is absolutely THE character who could just swap games with doom guy and get things done. Likely even get stronger weapons than him from absorbing the energy the demons generate and having her armor create a form that's resistant and stronger against them. Even worse for the demons if she gets access to the Metroid abilities or Phazon that let her run basically super tech. She's almost one step above the slayer himself simply because her power is adaptive to the threat at hand.

@@Sylvastier The only saving grace of the demons against Samus I'd say is that she probably isn't as strong willed as Doomguy, and she may struggle against Hell's corruption but also still overcome with effort. I say this because in her own universe, by the end of Metroid Prime 3, she was genuinely struggling against the corruption of Phazon and was barely keeping a hold of herself it seemed. But of course, with great effort she overcame that in the end so I'd say she could still resist the demons' corruption in the same way at least. Doomguy's straight up immune to being corrupted by anything, Samus is just very highly resistant so it's not impossible that she could reach a limit to what she can handle if she's not careful.

@@yeetneet5334 I think the Galactic Federation and the Space Pirates definitely can't do anything about the Titans at all. But the Chozo and Samus to a smaller scale extent, absolutely could deal with them. They can't kill them just like the Maykrs couldn't but they absolutely could do something similar to how the Titans were dealt with in their own universe: Putting them in what is effectively a stasis. We see the Chozo of Tallon IV from Metroid Prime as a particular example of being able to do this kind of powerful stasis imprisonment to contain the phazon that was infesting their world and it's important to note that those particular Chozo were significantly less powerful than the rest of their people's legacy because they were basically the 'Amish' of the Chozo, deliberately forgoing much of their technology and knowledge to live simpler lives, which what passes as 'less' advanced technology among the Chozo is still comically superior than what the other factions in Metroid have, given the Space Pirates were utterly denied all attempts to breach the stasis field the Tallon IV Chozo had put over the impact crater. So if these 'Amish' Chozo can do something like this, I definitely think the greater Chozo empire with their even more powerful capabilities could absolutely bring down a Titan and imprison it in a similar fashion as we see in Doom Eternal. As for Samus, she may have to do a whole quest that would allow her to get the power to do that when a Titan comes into her universe, where it's probably the major focus of the 'game' sort of deal. And she's be racing against the clock because as she's trying to explore ancient Chozo ruins for deep lore and technology that could be brought to bear against the demons, the Titan is actively destroying everything.

The Security Officer from Marathon would definately be able to surive in the Doom universe and could even possibly beat Doomguy himself due to him basically having the ability to just respawn himself, survive the heat death of the universe, and has an infinity gauntlet imbedded in his brain. It’s also heavily implied in the ending of Marathon Infinity that he has become God. The thing about the Reapers is that they are essentially glorified gardeners. Their whole goal is to specifically harvest and cultivate life in the universe before it can destroy itself. Not completely destroy it. They want to be a scalpel, not a sledgehammer. I think if the Reapers were faced with an existential threat like this, they would be able to change tactics to be far more destructive on a dime. And I'm surprised you didn't even mention the possibility of converting the demons into reaper forces which could potentially completely sidestep their ability to come back from death alongside using their own power against them overall.

Maybe, I do find the interpretation someone had of the reapers not caring a bit more likely. Since demons don't actually plan on destroying all life but subjugating it. But they are also that level of technology that the reapers would see as in need of pruning. If the invasion were to play out at the exact time stated in this video I don't see the reapers joining anybody, it would just be a three way brawl. Sam can easily fight the demons on his own. I remember it was implied that the Players taking damage as Sam is canon and even The First Encounter references that by claiming Sam was "wounded many times but he never showed weakness" or something similar in that regard. Plus, the enemies in Sam are strong(excluding the weaker enemies like Kamikazes, Gnaars and Beheaded Soldiers of course). The fact that they are soo easy to kill just showcases Sam's ability to handle them with any kind of weaponry and when you put into consideration that he fights his enemies on a larger scale than Slayer with his demons, Is actually impressive. In another lore statement, it is said that Mental keeps reviving the enemies Sam has killed which means that Sam fights infinite amounts of enemies. Also, Sam has proven many times that he can fight by himself without the EDF backing his ass. He fought and brought down battleships by himself, killed building sized monsters with regenerative abilities by himself, killed The Ancient Aztec Pagan God Kukulkan by himself and a lot more powerful enemies on a regular basis. Plus if you include his gadgets and power up pick ups it would be an overkill for the demons. Sam's gadgets include literal Black Holes, Nukes, Time Slowing gadgets, Rage Serum which gives him super speed and doubles his damage output with any weapon he wields and the Serious Bomb which evaporates literally anything within its radius. Sam's power ups include Serious Damage which doubles or triples his damage(similar to his Rage Serum), Invincibility which makes him unkillable and Serious Speed which makes him super fast(like the rage serum again). Sam's weapons are not some basic normal ones as you claimed. The Second Encounter states that Sam's Sniper Riffle can pierce through literally anything. His explosive weapons like the Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher and the SBC Cannon(which is super powerful) can do serious damage to the demons. I'm pretty sure Sam can mow down hordes of demons even with his basic weapons like the Tommy Gun and his shotguns because like I said Sam's ability to handle hordes is just that good and he can do that with even basic weapons. Sam in no way can beat Doomslayer but he for sure will not struggle against the demons.

There's a thing you're forgetting or ignoring about the Reapers from ME. It's that, while they have synthetic bodies, they are built around an organic core as the Gestalt of the species most suitable for the process during each cycle. Which is supposedly why Sovereing/Nazara claims that "Each of us (Reapers) is a Nation". So it is possible that demonic corruption could work on the organic components of the Reapers. This is not to mention that kinetic barriers (the shields your character have and the usual shielding of ships and vehicles) are COMPLETELY USELESS AGAINST ENERGY AND RADIATION. A fucking Imp just porting in from Hell at the nose of a ship and tossing a ball of fiery argent energy would completely bypass the shielding of that ship and burn a hole on the thing. And, it is also in the lore, that because kinetic barriers are so useful against the weapons every species in the known galaxy uses, the armors of all military forces are made extra thin from lightweight plastics to keep production costs low and because even thicker plates won't really stop a shot from a mass effect gun. So the only thing between stopping an Imp or a Possessed from eviscerating Commander Shepard with its bare claws is a couple of milimeters of cheap plastic. Hell the Reapers have another big disadvantage. It is in the lore that, in order for them to be able to enter a planet's atmosphere, they need to use mass effect technology to reduce their own density in order for them not to collapse under their own mass. Which means they become much more physically weak whenever they get in atmosphere. So all the demons need to do is place some Cyber Manccubi near a Reaper and have them fire their CORROSIVE bile at the damn thing that has become paper thin except for the barrier that only stops hits from things that have mass and travel at measurable fractions of the speed of light. Hell, we know that the Reapers have inner walkways and living quarters in them, since Sovereing/Nazara was Saren's flagship in ME1 and Saren had a crew living and working inside Sovereing/Nazara, so the demons just need to teleport in and wreak havok inside them, or blow a hole in the hull, or just go and rip out the Reaper's core and then they have all they need to adapt and improve upon the Reaper's technology. There is also the fact that the main weapon in the Reaper's arsenal, other than their indoctrination effect, is a spinal mounted gun that fires melted metal at fractions of the speed of light. So it is not an energy weapon, it is HEATED METAL. And yet ANOTHER big disadvantage of the ME Universe is that, because its inhabitants are limited to planets close to the mass relays, their worlds are all VERY clustered together, hell, the only thing the demons need to do to consume vast swaths of the galaxy is to invade a planet, corrupt enough of their people to play interdiction on the mass relay, and the people of those worlds have nowhere to run and no way to escape the doomed system.

The obvious comparison is Boltgun, being a love letter to Doom. Taking the 40k universe at its strongest you're probably looking at the War in Heaven. Yeah... the demons get obliterated. Reality-bending gods that can corrupt is basically an average weekday for them. You've got the Necrons, the Krorks, the Old Ones, the C'Tan, then to top that all off you get the Enslavers appearing outta nowhere. The Chaos gods were either already there, or created during it... or both. The Warp is funny like that. Either way, they've got their own daemons. The BFG10,000 might be able to blow holes in planets, but the C'tan eat entire stars. The Necrons have weapons that erase their opponents from history, the Celestial Orrery just deletes entire star systems with a flick of the wrist. Even their most basic weapons strip your molecules apart. That's not even mentioning the Old Ones... The Necrons alone would annihilate the demons. I think they'd take a week off to fight the Doom demons, then just go back to fighting eachother.

One thing for EDF. For them to have developed the technology to deal with all the kaiju attacks and crap constantly invading their universe BEFORE said crap could wipe out most of humanity, they must have some serious R&D. The real question is if they can adapt ardent energy into their weaponry before the bosses and Icon of Sin show up, because clearly, the Doom invasion occurs in waves; they aren't sending out the IoS right away.

The only problem is that the biggest villain they've been up against is pretty inept, something the demons definitely aren't. Besides, Skylanders have been shown to be unable to resist even their own in-universe corruption, hence why the Dark Skylanders exist. Imagine how they'd fare against something much more effective, like the demonic corruption of Doom. I love the series to death, but I can't imagine them surviving. The Mass Effect mass relays failing destroys an entire solar system, and those were built by the Reapers. Even just shooting large objects through them at targets is planet-busting levels of energy. I just realized that if he ever brings Fortnite into this, it will be hilarious because then we get to argue how all of the 3rd party characters could canonically win. I don't know about you, but I feel like Thanos could potentially take down the demons if he had the Infinity Gauntlet. However, the problem with Fortnite is that most of the 3rd party characters are just skins and usually aren't seen at their actual full power. Spider-Man would not be using a gun, he'd just be jumping around and punching people out. So, does he take how the characters are at face value as merely skins, or does he take them as if they are the actual characters from their actual series at their peak? I personally think either one could be interesting to watch.

Apart of me original considering the owl house but then a realized they would be screwed (their besy bet would be the collectors and the titans but even them aren't powerful enough. The child collector's puppet thing can be reversed by light. The hunter's scroll thing can't, though implying the child collector is weaker then his siblings *his siblings are pricks* ) even with the titans having every type of magic and spell in the show (including the ones belos used as luz can repeat them with glyph combos so the titans can to) and their own magic, but the collectors/archivists wipef them out despite the collectors being weak to titan magic. How about some fun maths... For the Mass Effect section. If we say that since the guns contain mini-mass relays, and accelerates the bullets to near lightspeed, the bullets will reach relativistic speeds, which is about 85% the speed of light. The speed of light being just shy of 300,000km/s, we're looking at 255,000km/s. So, having that, we look at the average weight of a bullet, which according to Google (since I'm Canadian and not familiar with guns) weigh anywhere from 0.02 - 0.04kg, so we will use the high end for this since I'm going to assume that's rifle ammo. Using the formula for calculating kinetic energy, that would give us 100347238 J of energy, which we can convert into tons of TNT, equaling 0.0239835655 tons of TNT. Converting into lbs, we get 47.967131 lbs of TNT, meaning each bullet fired from a gun with a mass relay would pack the equivalent of 48lbs of TNT.

Honestly I feel like they stand a pretty good chance because canonically it’s the same universe, and BJ is literally the ancestor to Doom Guy so at least we know he donated some good genetics. As well as that in New Colossus there’s literally a weapon made with argent energy (it says a mysterious energy source but the game came out a year after Doom 2016 so I think it’s a pretty safe bet that it’s argent) along will all of the other tech that’s just lying around in the universe like the power suits, and the robots I think they might just stand a chance.
