What a train wreck! You guys got it back looking pretty good. I like the cement bust on the blocks on the patio (very pretty), but the one laying on the ground was scary looking and the one peeking out the window of that shed was freaking me out. If that was the front yard, they would definitely get a violation here in the US. Great work getting the garden back. You can tell it once was beautiful.

It great what you do. God bless you for looking out for the disabled woman.Do you have any friends who might donate some time to fix a door on her home & maybe straighten out some of the siding that is bucked & bowed. She will be so happy to see her yard again. I bet she did it herself before she became disabled. I just wish somebody would volunteer to fix the outside of her home. It looks like bugs,spiders & mice could easily invade her home. Maybe somebody is watching or reading comments who could help her? I think the yard people who donate their time,equipment & talent are impacting the world with their charitable acts.And what a blessing to be able to see what you have done! Huge clean up job, you 2 are not scared of hard work, that's for sure. One addition you could make is cheap mulching mower to grind that stuff to nothing. We got an Alko for that, it was about £120, saves all that bagging up.

What you started out with was a nightmare. That was one of the most overgrown gardens I've seen to date. It was almost an agony to see you work your way through that mess. The end result was worth the watch and it was nice to see an actual usable garden with a cute little garden shed. Good work.

What makes u think ur music selection is good for Everyone? I love the work but the music is distractedly overwhelming. It takes away my peace of mind. Very annoying. Can u at least turn the sound of the music down lower? The sounds from the equipment does it for me. I watch these lawn makeover videos for their calming effect. Incredible to see the landscaping emerge from your efforts! America prob.would have repossessed the property for violations I imagine. Downunder thankfully I'm semi rural, so the bits down the back I have that look that way (!) back bush and don't stick out. Galeforce winds and freezing temps right now make getting to the yard here impossible. sigh... Which part of UK are you in, some of your places look suburban, others look like the countryside.

Hell of a mess to wade through, especially with brambles everywhere. My first thought on seeing it with the little garden shed was "The Secret Garden" and what might be revealed. If I were the homeowner and could afford it, my first act after the clean up would be to have the yard dug up and re-turfed with a suitable grass. It's a great little spot, though, just needs some plants that don't run berserk everywhere!

Someone created a beautiful garden with great structure once - you can tell it was once much loved by someone. So happy to see it being brought back to life. save your back and legs ,use a combi hedge cutter tool,makes big clearence jobs less exhausting ,small hedge cutters ok ,but not on vast jobs like these ,they have their uses alongside other tools,just a suggestion ,i worked in commercial landscape work ,maitenance etc,for 35 years retired recently 😊

Hi Alex & Gary, Wow what a amazing job you 2 did, on this backyard! Is there going to be a Part 3 to finish everything...no bramble anywhere on the fence & all the weeds gone on the ground around the flowers? To answer your question would the city in America be a Violation Yes it would be for this backyard! Oh, do you do pressure washing or have a friend...for the patio & sidewalks to look brand new? Before I end this, do you have in your area, Hen of the Woods mushrooms? It is September here in USA & they will start growing till the first frost...then no more till next year. I looked up for Britain & yes you have them, but don`t know exactly where & don`t know where you 2 live. The whole mushroom is Edible but don`t eat raw, they grow by Oak Tree base not on trunk! We cut at base, leaving root to come back next year same spot...don`t put string on plants or branch...others will take them. We brush off dirt or leaves & pull off what they call feathers, I say petals & dry them on a Dehydrator...done in a day & have already marked on ziplock bags...name Hen of the Woods (mushrooms) month/day/year & where...like what woods you found them, but if choosing to give some dried mushrooms to anyone...put in another ziplock bag & not write what woods. Oh put your fresh mushrooms in a laundry bag with holes. Yes these mushrooms are worth $18.00 lbs!! Good Luck!! Take care & stay safe, Love from Illinois USA
