After you defeat the camp and free the pall. It takes about three in game days for the camp to return

If you defeat a Camp it will despawn and respawn at some point. It is a part of the game, also the way you can get their "site" as a base and not be bother with thier cage and all the other things they have.. But it will respawn in time, and they have fixed places where they will spawn like by the first tower. My first run there wasnt a camp there, and first noticed a camp at that place when i were above level 35

I noticed this and I am playing on xbox, so no mods. I had some of the camps disappear, specifically the ones in this video, but after the most recent update, they seem to reappear after 2-3 in game days.

@@sarar3385 I'll have to check in my main save... I'm doing an egg + shiny only run right now, so I don't even mess with camps. But I know weeks ago, when you clear a camp, it did NOT disappear, it was just empty until the dudes respawned. Perhaps the update made the camps disappear altogether then and get "built" back by the syndicate in time.

You should try a run with no tools, like no pickaxe and axe, spear or crossbow, pure reliance on your pals for damage and gathering resources

3:57 whenever pals are commanded to attack aggressively, they also attack automatically This is a good lesson to know in the game because there can be a moment where you see a pal that's too strong for you to take on but if your pal is out and attacking aggressively it can fight that too strong pal. I've seen that happen before with a vanworm trying to kill a Broncharry in your fire tapes only run.

I'd say that although they aren't CAGED Pals, for one, you do make a convincing enough point, and secondly, honestly this is your challenge and changing up the rules (even more so to a reasonable extent such as this) is completely fair. And my opinion stays true for future challenges you will take on. 11:35 whenever you save a pal from a camp, whether it's a syndicate for a free pal alliance camp, it will despawn. This way the camp isn't just there with no pal to save until later when the camp responds with a new pal to save.

The same thing happened to me with the Syndicate bases. I'm not sure, but I think whenever you free the Pal from the bases, they temporarily despawn for a certain period of time.

The camps when cleared despawn and after a while spawn again

VERY LATE but just to explain what happened to the syndicate base (in case you are still curious and it hasn't been answered yet) but when you kill the thugs 'and' liberate the pal in the base, after about 10-20 minutes the base will despawn, and it will take about 1-2 day cycles or so until it respawns again with new thugs/pal to rescue, this happens for 'all' bases in regards to the syndicate and the Free Pal Alliance

4:24 Caged pals only, BUT, Lucky pals dont count so were getting them too. And then we had the case of the Incineram and Leezpunk as well where you "liberated them from their metaphorical cages" when they were just pals doing what your pals are doing with you. Being Pals and helping out their human partners. I mean, its not as if you're keeping pals locked up and only taking them out when you want some laborers or help massacre a bunch of other pals or humans like those syndicates right? -_-

i got a swee for my first rescue too... and I get lucky pals as well in this challenge... Also one egg of each type per base, otherwise the challenge progress very slowly and gets boring, cause cage pals take too long to respawn

You can have some kind of restriction going for the syndicate pals! Maybe, use only one species out of them, or roll a dice to determine if a pal "wants" to be with you. Maybe that thug was its life-long friend or something xD Or it can just have an evil personality and refuse to be with ya

This run got me to try restricting myself to caged pals and eggs/ bred pals to try something new. My first 2 pals were Mossanda Lux (Buzz) and Liftmunk (Veronica). So I was pretty lucky pal wise but do bear in mind they were level locked to my level... level 4ish on normal settings... (yes I would sneak and steal and snype. Not doing a lot of direct conflict at that level) Liftmunk was out and got nicked by a Eckthire Deer. Well... she was set to same target not aggressive but Veronica wanted BLOOD she took down both of the deer. No idea how that was even possible for her. I helped exactly zero aside from 2 arrows before i climed out of reach to hide. Liftmunk be vicious when provoked. No idea what the syndicate thugs were thinking taking her prisoner 🤣 they were taking their lives in their hands

You should do a raid only run You cannot save pals from cages if you do they must be sold as soon as possible You cannot pick up eggs and incubate them You cannot breed You can fight the raid boss and incubate the egg it drops You can capture pals from raid battles Last but not least you can only capture pals that come from raids Syndicate, free pal alliance, Lyleen, Brothers of the internal pyre, Reptero, pal Gigantic research unit, Lunarus, Lovander, Direhowl, Leezpunk, Incinaram, IncinaramNoct, VanwormCryst, Nightwing, Galclaw, Beacon, SuzakuAqua, Tocotoco, Relaxasaurus, RelaxasaurusLux. Edit: I let having a Lucky clause be your choice

Lucky only runs are a huge and I mean HUGE time sink. You better have the patience of a saint, because you need to setup glider runs (for speed) to increase the chance for a lucky to spawn. Only by leaving areas and re-entering will it respawn the pals and have a chance at a lucky. Doing that on foot is a gigantic pain in the tookus. I watched another dude do this and he spent hours going back and forth in certain areas just to get a chance at a lucky in whatever type he was looking for. Experience is extremely slow since you can't catch anything but the lucky's (and then subsequently any others of the same type once you have one lucky of that type). And having a "base" is pointless unless you get "lucky" enough to get the right Shiny pals to do anything you want in a camp. I started a "Shiny/Lucky" only run and once I found out just how time consuming and slow everything was, I switched it to a Lucky AND Egg only run.
