Coming end of the season April 11-14th Ski days. Going to be risky, but unfortunately can't come earlier :( We hope for the best that we can ski !

Blue10 was a disaster last week. 3 Persons from our party suffered crashes and injuries and had to be picked up by ski rescue. And no alternative route down from Shilligarnik chairlift, unless you can manage bumpy blue 5. Not a good option resort for lower intermediate skiers. I will not be returning to bansko.

😂 there’s a life-lesson there, learn from your mistakes. I did too & you’d have to pay ME to go back to that dump again. A lot of folk banging on about the how cheap the booze is in Bansko. Well, if that’s top of their list of criteria for a ‘good’ resort they can keep it. Weatherspoons do cheap booze ffs, & like Bansko, there’s a reason why they’re cheap - it’s coz they’re sh*te🤣. Sooooo many reasons to avoid this place, too numerous to rattle off here but u might as well pull £700 out yer pocket & 🔥 it. It’s Blackpool with snow (but without the faded tacky glamour🤣) The joint is owned/run by gangsters (fact). If anyone’s reading this intending on going remember this: Lock everything up because it will get robbed, even (especially) skis/boards…although you’ll likely find them for hire in shop the next day. I suspect this Lance clown bought digs years ago & like others, expected a tourism boom & big return, then the arse dropped out of the game & now he’s stuck there with his dwindling ‘investment’ trying to make the best of it. Save your £, go anywhere but Bansko. & I haven’t even started on the riding…..just, no

Tied to Bansko for ten years because of my apartment- now sold - so tried Borovets and Solden Austria last year and presently in Cervinia Italy. Look for a resort with good ratings for apres ski but realising that while other Euro resorts have fab skiing, Bansko can’t be beaten for bars and restaurants- Borovets doesn’t have the bands. 9 or 10 euro a pint in Cervinia but you do get great snacks with the drink. Ludicrous 75 euro for a bottle of Prosecco in the hotel.
