O driscoll is spending too much time in the UK, most rugby fans are over this provincial bias , who wouldn't like to see Doris Furlong Henshaw Conan all win another European title , they give Irish fans so much enjoyment on watching them play , we genuinely hope they do well .

I support all the Irish club teams, and typically when they play each other I’m cheering for the underdog. Very happy for Leinster and I hope to see them in the final. BOD has it wrong

He doesn’t have it wrong at all. But it’s good that you support all the Irish clubs. Leinster are not supported, or indeed liked, in the majority of the rest of Ireland, with particular emphasis in Munster. Of late Munster feel overlooked by the IRFU and have been very unhappy with funding and transfers vs Leinster. This is common knowledge amongst their vocal fan base. Leinsters coach has also talked about how it would be nice to be supported in Ireland, outside of the province

The hate from other Irish teams is fair enough, thats how local rivalries should be. What I don't understand is the hatred from teams outside of Ireland. A lot of it seems to stem from the Leinster = Ireland argument as it is somehow unfair but its not Leinsters fault that they are so good that they make up the majority of the Irish team. I don't recall people complaining about the Crusaders when they made up most of the All Blacks side.

Sheer blind jealousy . The IRFU got the contract thing spot on, they promote the 4 provinces to get them to do well. The lads who make the European championship teams are not flogged and forced to play most of their domestic league unlike the England and French who have attritional leagues that involve relegation and promotion

He was part of the side that really kicked off the spite between Leinster and other provinces. Checka was a massive part of it. D'Arcy often admits it. Im a Munster man who held Leinster Season tickets long before i could get regular Munster tickets. The new breed of Leinster supporters are unbearable.

don't worry Bob, the old breed of Munster supporters were equally unbearable and have a huge part in why there is no love for Munster in Leinster anymore. Lansdowne in 2006 was just so incredibly sour, I have never seen more ungracious winners in my life.

So the 06 result in Lansdowne caused it all? I'm not disagreeing with you totally, however you do have to factor in a few things and I'll use your 06 reference as an example. 1) 80% at least, of the ordinary/everyday Munster Supporters couldn't get tickets for that match as from about 03 onwards Munster games were nothing more than Corporate days out for the sponsors and anyone tied to the larger clubs. 2) Immediately after Leinster beat Toulouse in San Sebastian the Media and indeed many in the Leinster camp, by all accounts led by Cheika and Knox, were spouting about how they were going to topple Munster. Rumour has it Cheika started that nonsense immediately after taking over from Kidney. (He had similar pops at Eddie O'Sullivan when the likes of Gleeson wasn't getting a look in). That classic Aussie Sporting mentality obviously crept into the Leinster dressing room and it's quite evident that many in that side thought that Munster had no right to outperform them. Again lots of media to support that statement. The old saying, you can only kick a dog so many times, comes to mind. Let's be honest, before Leinster started reaching quarters and semi's the average attendance at games was poor, that's why Donnybrook was their home ground. When they beat Biarritz in 2000 the place wasn't even half full. Now all you hear at Leinster games are insufferable fools who know nothing about the club or it's history. That's a large part of why they are disliked, and it's across Europe, not just in Ireland. They've become the new Brits.
