Challenge Idea: Read a book from a different genre every day for a week I would go with hardcovers on that Would You Rather because sometimes the inside of the jacket has art, or there's a design on the cover that works better as a hardcover, things like that I just prefer.

What's kinda cool, is that even when I don't have a book mark, there are times where I manage to open it at or only a couple pages close to where I left off. Who needs book marks? (Kidding, love bookmarks). Living a not as loved book for me. Loving books is much more rewarding. Doesn't happen often though which is sad. Usually dislike a loved book.

After 21years of reading UK paperbacks (I'm 28 and started reading at 7) you get used to it. Most of my books look unread despite being UK paperbacks. But I agree, floppy is easier to read without cracking the spine.

I hate when my books get wet, we had a leak in our ceiling and I didn't know until I woke up and one of my books was all wet and warped, it hurts me to read it now. I'm going to have to buy another copy of it, thankfully it's an older series and in paperback so it's pretty cheap now.

UHM im not hailey but i'd recommend (based on the fact that you like SOC) the cruel prince/the folk of the air for a fast-paced adventure fantasy with morally grey characters OR the dark artifices if you like family/found family and queer rep! i also heard that the lies of locke lamora is a fantastic heist story but with morally grey characters but i havent read it so i cant be certain! anyway i hope that helped :) happy reading... im sure the slump wont last too long!

Hailey, have you read Dreamland Burning? It’s historical fiction about the race riots in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1921. It’s told in a dual timeline where the main character in the present finds a skeleton in her backyard from this time period. I really enjoyed it!
