Hey Mr. Fanatic like the "new" tractor . Also like the cheek weights on it. As far as selling the other tractor, I don't know I think it's cool as hell, sell only if you get the right offer. or need the room. see I think old equipment have souls too. And if you do sell make sure( if you can) it doesn't go to some chowder head that won't take care of it.

You have a good price on your 51 Super C. I sure wouldn't take less. Your new Super C has a power unit engine, not the original. At 11:10-11:25, It appeared that the block was curved in under the dipstick. That it the cut out for the starter. The dipstick is also a power unit dipstick. The starter comes in from the front on a power unit. The odd time you can get a dipstick in a Super C. But they are pull out types. This one is a screw type and it has an engine running and an engine stopped. That may be a C-135 or C-153 in it if that's the case. I just hope it doesn't have the C-113. That's also possible.

When drop on home farm was wet day and come off deck very slow and easy to in slow steps! When dad & uncle tried get 1968 McCormick International 105C combine gas motor home on trailer haul no way could because Bridges to low and so many back roads drive home farm and 10 hours drive not kidding or lies about and was lots fuel burn too and slow 40 mph speed in Pick up truck too behind so my dad hurt in accident in combine or us truck ! Dealership to Home farm was 1 hour normal vehicle but remember my go one hill 90 degrees angle for 3 miles for up and down on 2 lanes had use at bridge tell was scary too! Because tie chains on 1978 GMC High Series Serria Scottdale is 2 door 25 3/4 ton with 1 ton suspension front to back pivot axle of combine and brakes pedal on truck on 1/2 on so combine header hit was like teatodder for 3 miles down sloop! Also was not easy and if were in my home area of Ontario Canada would show up take to that and say holy moly your right !

I had a Super C with a wide front end. I liked it better in the field. It did not turn as quickly, but it was a lot more stable.

I have my great grandpa's super c. We've owned it since it was new. It's not running right now. Needs a lot of work. My grandpa always said Hy-Tran was better in the touch control. You're smart to run 90 octane in your C, ethanol will ruin those old engines. We always added lead additive to the fuel, too.

Looks like your new Super C has a C-123 power unit engine like my C. The dipstick and the notched engine block for the power unit starter are a dead give away.

That steel added to the sides of the engine I have a feeling he must have cracked a block once doing some pulling and the front slamming down. The only thing holding the front end is the block. Now a Ford N series the oil pan added strength to the assembly. Our H had dry rotted tires as long as we had it. We bought tire paint and coated the sides. Dad said they used that during the war because of the rubber process and protected the war rubber from the sunlight. You sure that sat for 9 months and started that easy? I have noticed on a lot of your older videos the use of the battery charger. I have a jumper box to help a weak battery start a 6 volt system. Old enough to buy a Six Volt Die Hard from Sears for 15 dollars and you get three years out of it.

Have you tried taking the cover off the governor and spraying wd40 on everything that moves? I was amazed by the difference it made on my H. If you can get $2k for it, go for it. Somebody would probably love to have it. Sell it to a good home.
