Wow, you are one of the only other people I've ever heard mention ortovox gear! Great to see this! I love their gear! So well made, and they offer some crazy lightweight options. If you're interested, they make a "comp light 120 series" in underwear, and base layers. The comp light 120 underwear are 70% merino, 30% nylon.. my men's size medium only weighs 1.3oz. So I imagine the women's are even lighter. The ortovox comp light 120 base layers are the same material content, (70% merino 30%nylon) and my mens sz XL t shirt only weighs 4.0 oz. My long sleeve comp light 120 only weighs 4.5oz. All made in Europe, and held up great to lots of use. I used them all summer on the pct, jmt, and Tahoe rim trail for a total of about 800 miles. Just amazing durability for their weight. Like you said: ortovox gear is expensive, but you can definitely find sales, and it's worth it in my opinion. The hardest part for me with ortovox gear is finding it here in the us.. places often have limited selection on models and sizes. I just recently posted a video on my channel about their gear, and I did find a European dealer that usually has most things in stock. I just picked up (on a crazy sale) a merino lined wind breaker they make; that in a mens large only weighs 5oz.😮 just unreal! I'm not a UL hiker by any means, but do try and keep it manageable, and ortovox just offers some of the highest quality UL gear I've ever come across. For weight, comfort, functionality, and durability; they are at the top of my list. Sorry for the long comment 🙃

@@MarissaCollison awesome! Definitely check out some of their other gear when it's on sale. For me I hate buying expensive stuff just because it's light or Merino.. only to then have it fall apart after a few washes, or with limited use.. Ortovox isn't like that..it is lightweight, functional gear that lasts. Their warranty on most item's is 5 years which is amazing! (And no I have no affiliation with them) even though I sound like a commercial for Ortovox.) Lol I have just been very impressed with their gear! I mentioned their comp light series to you because it's a slightly less Merino content then the ones you mentioned, & dry super quick, and are very comfy. They make them in the boy short style for women too, which you mentioned you liked.. sorry for the long comment, but I always like spreading the word on good gear! Anyway, happy holidays! Stay healthy and safe!

Ha! I guess I'd have to do some research to find something for ya. Honeydew Intimates has a break line and might fit your need!
