Ah that’s annoying, definitely would of made the choice harder, would you of got a talaria or still got a surron? Either way, the surron is not a bad choice and already plenty of upgrades available for you plus loads of information on how to maintain the bike!! You’re right as well, surron need to come up with something new for the LBX for it to stay relevant!!! Ride safe man⚡️💯

@@mattfrancisofficial I'd probably go with the Sting R today. In the trails it wouldn't make much difference. But on the open road it would be nice to get up over 50. On a full charge my Surron maxes out at about 46. I also like the idea of the gearbox versus the belt.

I bought my LBX in 2020, and have close to 20k miles on it. I just replaced the drive belt. Thats it. And I did upgrade with the BAC 4000 at around 8k miles. I have been riding a CR 250 for 45 years, and I have way more fun on the LBX. If you do ANY road riding get Shinko 241, or you will go broke buying tires.. The 241s are half descent in the woods except over roots or logs.

20K miles!! That’s insane man! Sounds well looked after if you’ve only just had to change the belt especially if using an upgraded controller! The surron will always be the best simply because it was first and the amount of time it was unchallenged. Near 5 years. It has amassed and will retain the largest community of support and aftermarket modifications. There has also been no bike that can conclusively best a modified surron, people have found ways to make the light bee keep up and surpass It's competitors, even its older brothers. The ultra bee now has the best chance, but it's simply in a different class, comparing a mountain bike frame to a mx frame with similar or even better performance when modified, minus all the weight. The surron is simply unique in it's appeal to all styles of riders and what it's able to do/get away with.

Haha poser😂 that term itself is a blast from the past, you must be an 80’s skater. I’ve skated since about 5 years old and basically lived at skateparks until my late teens. I can actually skate as well, not just do an ollie and a pop shuv and call myself a skater😂 thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video man. So I'm in the market for one of these bikes, but I've really been interested in the new Eride Pro SS. Again, as you pointed out though, they don't have any history or track record, being a new company. But they do look sweet though, especially with the bigger battery and taller height. It's more suited for taller dudes like me. But my question is what are the LBXs top motor power? I know the Eride Pro SS has an upgraded motor that can do at least 12 KW, but isn't the LBXs motor rated even higher? The Eride Pro S is only rated at 5 or 6 KW, if I'm not mistaken, even though the battery is still bigger than the LBX in the base model, but the base model of the LBXs motors are much more powerful, aren't they?

No problem, personally i think the E ride pro SS is the best option for a bike currently. For what you get out the box for the price its a great package and i dont think you’ll have any problems with it. I’ve only heard great reviews so far so would be a good option. I’m not too sure what the surron motor is rated for but i know it can handle high power but not for pro longed periods of time. For example you cant ride the bike at full throttle for longer than a few minutes as there is the risk of melting the motors insides. I’ve heard surron are meant to be bringing out a new version of the LBX so might be worth seeing what they change on the LBX before making a final decision. Hope this helps!!

Hmm im short 5’5 wonder if this would be a great size for me?..
@mattfrancisofficial Жыл бұрын
Should be ideal!! I’m 6ft and dont really struggle with the size of it if i’m honest. Any one who is taller might but there’s options to make it bigger if needed
