One of the highest upsides in the league... untouchable

Why instead of adding some other pieces to help Curry you want JK the only consistent second scorer to be traded? How many superteam were eliminated in play offs right now? If Warriors get a superstar would that be enough to help Curry with the situation of Klay, Wigs and Dray? Im tired of people being so hard on a 21 year old who was being held by his coach to develop and now that he got the opportunity to prove his worth people want him to play just like the players who are already in their prime. JK said he was drafted here and he want to stay but id rather want to see him in another team where a coach and fans will value him. Most teams wants JK and Warriors dont deserve to have him.

Man these warriors fan are stupid when it comes to Kuminga, he is the second best player on the warriors. Everybody is criticizing him for not being a complete player, but he is only 21 years old which no one takes into account of. He has time to develop a three point shot. You guys just give up on this guy way too quick. I am not trading Kuminga no matter what, the people who do are just dumb and don’t realize his potential.
@derrickk60287 ай бұрын
JK must be only player in the NBA at his age whose game is picked apart for not being complete at 21, to put into context Steph entered the league at 21, the ball stuck and at that time everyone thought he had terrible shot selection hell Klay is 34 and we still question his shot selection but oh let the heavens crash because a 21 year old doesn't have a consistent jumper yet, Jordan Poole didn't either he never shot anywhere close to even 38% over a season from 3. I hope everyone realises if Thunder or Wolves go to the finals then this league goes through the young guys and here we are trying to what? get an old timer at 50 million in a conference that goes through Denver, T-Wolves and the Thunder not to mention Memphis has been better than us over the regular season over the last 2 years when healthy. Our best player is not better than either of the other teams best players we are acting like Steph is 30 he turns 37 next season and Shai is him, Ant is him, Jokic is him, Ja is him all 4 are better now than he will be at 37 but no lets get Kevin Durant who got taunted by Ant man all series of Shai who taunted Steph 4 times this season and there wasn't even a rebuttal.

If Kuminga improves a little and Curry performs the way he did in the swcond half of the season, there is more chance that Kuminga will be the best player on the team in most nights.

@myyololand7 ай бұрын
Actually this makes more sense and would be a good move. I dont know why I thought you wanted to trade JK and Moody for Murray. Murray can handle, pass, defend at high level and he can create for himself. I can see a line up of Curry+Murray+Moody+JK/Dray+TJD but we really need an upgrade at the center position, TJD is good and all but we need more. I would trade Looney+picks for Wendell Carter if ORL is open

Jk shot just under 33% this year when he finally got consistent playing time. Dub fans think getting a 3rd scorer will fix all that ails the dubs. The team is slow old short and just getting a scorer doesnt fix that. This system worked when you had 3 elite 3 point shooters and a stout defense. This idea that this team is going to make a move and compete is a pipe dream. Bob Myers had the right idea but Kerr and Lacob got impatient. We traded Wiseman, Jpoole PBjr for Gp2 and cp3 with the same idiotic thought process that we only needed gp2 and cp3 to remain relevant. They were wrong. Dray is declining athletically, Gp2 is 31 and injury prone, Cp3 cost us poole pbj and a number one for a one year rental, at what point do we accept that this iteration is done and we need to look towards buiding a future. We need depth and youth. We need to figure out how to develop young players not keep trying to fix and old car that is breaking down consistenly. We arent winning next year with dray steph wiggs loon and/or klay. Pods cant score or shoot, TJD has no offensive game at all, yet they fit kerr's dream. the dram is over, develop MM JK LQ, let loon gp2 cp3 gp2 klay walk, trade wiggs and if you can dray. Steph is slowing down as evidenced by his 2nd half of the season, all players get old and you have to move on.

Sorry to inform you but on social media there has been A LOT of dubnation regret on trading Jordan Poole. Yes, Poole started off a mess in Washington but when they moved him to PG and allowed him to play on ball, his average jumped back up to 20ppg and 5 assists. He ended the season by averaging 23ppg, 8 assists and 4 rebounds in his last 10 games! Willard, Poole did the things you said the Warriors were deficient in, like getting to the rack and breaking people down off the dribble. VERY WELL! Dubnation saw that while looking at how the Warriors season ended and many people have expressed regret over that trade.
@rickrock18847 ай бұрын
This year is probably the best time for the Warriors to do it. Either trade him this summer or let him ball out up to the midseason trade deadline and hopefully drive up his value. Kuminga is good and will be better, I just don't see the generational talent that people make him out to be based off of dunks and catching alleys. We need to go after Banton in Portland to pair with Curry in the back court for the next few years. Not saying Kuminga is part of that deal, but he's a more reasonable acquisition than some of these fairytale scenarios people are tossing around. Some of the jersey mockups are wild...smh
@fried_riceee7 ай бұрын
Banton is a career 28% from 3. His highest shooting season was 31%. He's a worse shooter than Kuminga who already is giving them spacing issues. So you want another player who needs to develop a shot, a problem they need to fix right now. Smart.
@rickrock18847 ай бұрын
Smart is commenting as if I said they should trade Kuminga for Banton when I explicitly said "not saying Kuminga is part of the deal." The Warriors are undersized at guard and Banton's skills aren't just what show up on basketball reference. Anyone who plays alongside Steph will see more open shots based on the gravity he creates. I'd bet Banton's percentage would go up.
@fried_riceee7 ай бұрын
@@rickrock1884 I never even said trade Kuminga, you just assumed. I said, why take on another developmental player when they already have one in Kuminga who also doesn't have a shot. That doesn't solve the issue of shooting, it just adds more problems. The guy shoots worse than Kuminga and they lack spacing. What the hell does that fix when Curry needs help NOW. Good job, read man. Maybe don't try to be a smart ass when you don't even read yourself.

I really hope the warriors trade JK for some old talent lol I want to sit there and laugh at you dumb fans . Warriors with KD are not beating this Minnesota in 7 games . Small ball is done . Old man basketball is done . Super teams are done . Get over it . Move on . Capitalize on Steph’s prime lmao you need some bigger younger , faster and more athletic players to compete with the new nba . Houston is going to be dangerous next year . If San Antonio gets a legit point guard they will be dangerous . Memphis with JA coming back will be different team . The top teams in the league are bigger / younger / faster / athletic
