This hike is def on the harder side of the scale for most hikers. I would not recommend this to anyone with doubts about their fitness level and cardio. The small road is not in the best shape, but the parking area is nice, however, after the parking area...thats the last of any kind of real maintained trail you'll see. I would say you either need to have been there before or have a compass/gps to make sure you find the right "trail" down. You can hike to the top which I did last yr or you can take the more intense hike down to the bottom pool area!! If you plan on taking this on, I'd day bring lots of water, snacks, wear really good shoes and gloves are a must! if you're unsure about if you can make this trek, please just enjoy the video and take in the natural beauty not far from Mt. St. Helens.

I love my trip to paradise I took the old decommissioned road it was longer but not to bad that last part getting down to the creek was tough but the falls more then made up for it. Have a great day

There is no named trail for this hike….and once you get close there is no trail at all. The FR to get there just dead ends and you walk from there! Near St. Helen’s

On the FR walking in there’s a large branch on the left that was sawed off and is about shoulder height. Trails pretty much straight down the hill from there. Might be easier to find on the way out tho. About 20-30 feet down stream from the large log crossing, you’ll see the trail heading up the hillside

@@WaterfallWhispering sorry that’s super vague…a stick in the woods. That’s how it was described to me and I found it a couple years ago. You’ll notice it when you see it. And hearing the falls helps.

I'm planning on heading out to this location. Thanks for the video! It's spectacular! What FR did you drive to get out that way, if i may ask? I originally found this on google Maps while scouting sites. Further investigation brought me to your video here on youtube! It's like one of the only ones. 😂😊

@@shnackerss8640 well if you use google maps…it will take down a road that is blocked by a huge tree….you can walk from there but it’s a long walk down that road and back. The way I go is a no name FR that dead ends at a shady campsite…the one you saw in my vid. That’s how I get there but google doesn’t have a name or # on it….i just found it one day…ya I just checked and google maps doesn’t name the road…also makes a difference where you’re coming from…25 has a bad wash out right by the falls. The way I go is only accessible coming from south…the north way down is the way to the road blocked by the huge tree 🌲

@@shnackerss8640 easiest way is to mark the falls on GPS…even if just on ur phone and then hike towards it like I did in my vid…it’s possible to get the top and bottom depending on where you cut off from the FR. Be careful 🤙
