Great video thanks! Can someone tell me why a client receiving frequent wound irrigations are at risk for a fluid volume excess? I would think they are at risk for fluid volume deficit.

When she mentions splash from irrigation she would be using a STAL Shield on her syringe - new product works great for this - confines splash right near the source. Made by Prodaptive Medical

Great info and video! Irrigation was a bit lacking though. Did not demonstrate good irrigation in the sense that it should spray out stronger on the wound (8psi). Other than that, great video!
