But unfortunately, the elephant could not be taken out of the lake. Wildlife officials cannot administer anesthetic injections to the elephant while it is in the lake. The wildlife doctor decided to inject antibiotics into the elephant's leg wound. To save the life of the elephant, the wildlife officials decided to descend into this lake, which has large crocodiles. Although this posed a great threat to the life of the wildlife officers, they successfully administered the vaccinations. Due to the pain caused by the injection, the elephant swam away from the lake. Although not all vaccinations could be given, the wildlife officers did their job very successfully. The vet decided to start the vaccinations again in a few days. We should highly appreciate this action done by the wildlife officials with great dedication.
