Great video again. Also, in Spanish, you tend to confuse rato with reto. It's very similar so you need to be careful. Rato means moment and reto means challenge. Thanks again for the great and consistent content.

Bengali is the main language of Bangladesh. So it's more like a country language rather than regional one. Though Bangladesh was included in India but that's whole another topic

In all fairness, that accent at 8:55 is pretty confusing for romanians as well, that girl was definitely from Moldova (the country) or maybe even the Ukraine. The phrase didn't even make sense, she said 'Today is a very sunny day because there is only good weather in the Netherlands and we all went outside now we are going to food'. The second girl was Romanian however.

@@tonyvelli4324 Boooh c'est pas grave l'accent, le plus important c'est pas qu'il donne l'impression d'être un français natif mais plutôt qu'il comprenne ce qu'on dit et inversement! Et il fait déjà un super boulot là dessus, certes son français n'est pas parfait mais 90-95% est compréhensible, c'est suffisant pour parler et être compris partout en français

Dag Wouter, Soms stuur ik jouw vaardigheden wat vreemde talen betreft, naar vrienden en vriendinnen. Hoewel ik mij "chemicus" mag noemen, interesseer ik mij - vooral na mijn pensioen - voor talen. Behalve Frans, Duits en Engels - die kreeg ik al op school - leerde ik later Italiaans èn een beetje fårsí. Momenteel probeer ik wat Japans te leren. Door mijn belangstelling ben ik ook iets te weten gekomen over taal'families'. Zo blijken Turks en Mongools verwant te zijn (Altaïsche taal'familie') en komen Arabisch, Amhaars (Ethiopië) en Hebreeuws uit één bron: de Semitische taal'familie'. Mandarijn behoort tot de Sino-Tibetaanse 'familie', waarin toonhoogte een belangrijke rol speelt. Voor de meeste Europeanen zijn Hongaars en Fins razend moeilijk. Die komen oorspronkelijk uit het Oeral-gebergte. In de Verenigde Staten heb je de Amerindische talen, gesproken door Indianen. En in Afrika bestaan er sommige talen waarbij je 'n woord moet inademen in plaats van uitademen. De uiteenlopendste talen schijn je in de Kaukasus èn in Nieuw-Guinea te vinden. Soms zó 'erg' dat je in het ene dal zelfs een andere taal'familie' hoort dan in een naburig dal! Die "vergelijkende taalwetenschap" is al in 17zoveel ontstaan in Leiden. 12:27 you made 2 small mistakes. you said 日本語は話せますか. do not say ka at the end of the sentence unless it is a question. also instead of wa hanase masu, use the ga particle instead. Corret way of saying it: 日本語が話せます If there is context you dont have to say あなた Or わたし。

日本に来たことがありますか。(Nihon ni kita koto ga arimasu ka) would it be. You said 日本に来たことがあげますか。(Nihon ni kita koto ga agemasu ka) which is a bit weird to translate. Because 'agemasu'means 'to give'
