Anything in the third dozen outside columns pays 2-1….so you could lose $250….or $1000 with a green or any of those inner four on the third dozen. Anything in the center vertical column uncovered will also cause you to lose $250. This strategy is horrible as it exposes you to 16 total numbers that lose $250 overall and 6 numbers that cost you all $1000. If you are going to share high limit strategies, learn the rules of the game and know the payouts…otherwise you are misleading people. You have 22 ways to lose out of 38 numbers….the casino will love you.

Let’s break it down… 16 numbers will net you a 250 loss, cause you only win one of the bets. 6 numbers will net you a 1000 loss cause you hit none of the bets. 16 numbers will win 2 bets netting you a 500 win on a 1000 investment. 16+6=22 losing scenarios out of 38 possible outcomes. And the other 16 only make you half of what you put into it. Better off putting 500 on black or red, there is 18 chances to win the same 500 with half the investment. Been a roulette dealer for almost 30 years. Stop misleading people.

The odds of hitting the $500 win though aren't very high still, even if you hit first or second 12 if it's the middle column/row of numbers 2, 5, 8, 11 etc. you're still going to be down $250 and just hedging your bet. 0's or middle column in the 3rd 12 will be $1000 loss. It's not a strategy to employ spin after spin or I doubt you'd come out on top.
