WoW 20th Anniversary Event Had Rocky First Day

For the mount off mount thing, I highly recommend plumber. I recommend the plumber addon for a zillion reasons otherwise, but the dev has the addon pop up it's own mount button for you as well as shows voting results for the fashion event. Every time something new comes out that dev seems to be on top of it with amazing qol stuff

Im so glad I found your channel because you think exactly what Im thinking with some of these bugs. Im always asking HOW they miss these things, how is there not a checklist they go through to make sure these bugs dont happen. Its absolutely insane to me how so many obvious problems get missed. They should literally have 20 years of experience with this!

i’m actually hearing it’s an addon adding buttons for players. plumber. so missing button isn’t a bug after all. it was never a feature in first place. lol. once again addon solving something that should already be there.

The mounts/toys issues is so recurring that by now you'd expect them to be able to just added a generic zone that fixes this issue around any important/event npc

Great video! Unfortunately, this is indicative of the entire game at the moment. Completely untested content, major bugs and no QA in sight. Same mistakes over and over. You should send this to Holly Longdale.

It used to be that Blizzard gave us a present in our inbox, like an anniversary mount or some such item, for being a loyal player and subscriber, now it seems they prefer to insult us with worthless time wasting events with little to no payoff even after weeks of hard slog.

There are shitloads of rewards you can earn from the event and yea you have to do something for them. Not everything is handed out to you for 0 effort.

@@ShadowsOfThePast Not if you're a solo player in that you don't partake of raid or dungeon or involve yourself in PVP, then things are more limited.

@@ihavenot Well yea then it might take longer. They did say that the rewards are not going anywhere and you will be able to get them later like the next anniversary etc so don't sweat about it too much. It's not necessary to be done within this anniversary only.

@@ShadowsOfThePast And honestly, in my opinion, the Coldflame Tempest Mount is that reward. Simple to earn, just do a couple of achievements around the faire ground and take out two bosses, done. Really easy to earn, even in a single day/play session, and you get a really pretty icey-blue phoenix mount. The only issue I can see is that new players may struggle to get the mount-off achievement since so far, I have not seen her bring out any of the starting/racial mounts save for the Obsidian Vorliqin mount which is a starting/racial mount for Dracthyr.

we had the epic edition only mount in one mount off AND a store mount, Eve's Ghastly Rider ... bit unfair to some players

Toxic, but at least acquirable for all players. I think those are fine if limited in usage (maybe only 1 per event). But I still hold a mount that's only acquirable by a certain profession or class is not good. It creates uneven playing field.

The laag was terrible :/ and heroic raid is overtuned whilst LFR is super undertuned where low levels 1 hit bosses

I didn't get a chance to do raid yet but i'm sure it has issues too, especially since it didn't get a lot of testing since they scheduled it during conflicting time (RWF and everyone having live raids to do)

BRD was hilariously overtuned for what it was. No DBM either so there’s no chance at pugging heroic right now.

it has a dbm. is it not alerting of missing module on zone in? i have to check that code again. it’s in vanilla mod pack. similar to how fire lands in cata pack black temple in tbc ulduar in wrath

Really? A 2-minute respawn timer? I knew they respawned fairly quickly which is good, but was not expecting them to be able to respawn that quickly.

Just the usual. Blizzard only tests this crap along th Happy Path. "Oh, a gamer can play it ... works, deliver it and let's go home" 🙂 Why would Blizzard be better than any other software company? People are still buying, still paying and still playing. It seems to have become some sort of twisted love affair where everyone complains about their partner yet can't do without them. Hmm... Almost like a rubber doll 🤣

WoW is striking me as a Fallout 76 clone right now, but I think Fallout 76 has a stronger community, which is sad. I've had people in Fallout 76 follow me around and help me out just because they were bored and uber geared, trying to add me as a friend. I'm a complete under leveled noob with zero gear and they still want to help. Skip over to WoW. No one even speaks to you. No one is helping you do anything unless it's a premade friend or guildie. There's no creative outlet in WoW like there is in 76, you can't build or create anything to show off, no one cares about anything you do, ever, not even your IO. Your IO is just a vehicle for them. Bugs + hostile community + grind = not for me.
