Fun fact the sentai Carranger 28:38 was suppose to be a parody sentai but even with how ridiculous it was, people took it seriously. So this lead to the creators making an even more unhinged parody sentai. Those last two openings you saw were from the parody sentai “Unofficial Sentai: Akibahranger” a parody sentai about the three main characters literally trying to become an official sentai team. It is batshit crazy for so many damn reasons that I’ll give if you want. Another thing in regards to Toy looking characters and weird cat thing. Those two seasons, Zenkaiger and DonBrothers, were filmed during covid. So they had to have most of the team dressed in costumes that covered their mouths and for the other season had two of the team members be entirely CGI when they transformed.

On broadcast, that little bit comes between the opening credits and the post credit commercial. That's for the "sponsor billboard" and an announcer reads off the Japanese equivalent of "This program is brought to you by Bandai Co and the following brand sponsors" while the sponsors names and corporate logos are superimposed over the footage. Then they go to commercial.

As a fact: migthy morpher ordered more recordings to be made for more material for the other seasons of power ranger, that material is known as zyuranger 2 And also that in Super Sentai they have anniversary specials for their series, 10 or 20 year anniversary... for example Hurricaneger 20 years later or like now, a season celebrates its 10 years by having a crossover (or VS) with which It was last year's season

From Goranger to King-ohger it's one universe, except Kyuuranger. but Zenkaiger destroys it into a different universe, possibly Donbrother's is the same. But fortunately King-ohger returned it. King-ohger is still in the same universe as sentai before Zenkaiger and only on different planet but with the same name because the people who migrate miss their hometown

I’d describe Super Sentai as existing in a “overlapping multiverse”. Each season is it’s own self contained universe, but they’ll also do regular crossovers between seasons that pretend like they exist in the same universes. If they actually all took place in the same universe the timeline would make no damn sense. The 35th and 45th anniversary seasons illustrate this clearly. Gokaiger (The pirate season) treats it as a shared universe and has past Sentai actors make regular guest appearances. On the other hand, Zenkaiger (The season with the annoying voice at the start whose suits you described as too bulky) makes a point of all the seasons existing in different universes and makes that multiverse aspect part of the plot. The reason the suits are so bulky is because 4/5 of the team are based on the Giant Robos of past seasons, while the leader is a combination of the leaders from the first two seasons of Sentai. It’s also worth noting that those last two intros aren’t the latest season, nor is it a true Sentai season. “Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger” was a more adult oriented parody Sentai released around the 35th anniversary. The “Rangers” are a trio of delusional otakus (a Super Sentai fanatic, a cosplayer and a closet anime fan) trying to become an “official” Sentai team. “Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger) (the season airing right now) is also absent from this video. Akibaranger (the last two OPs you watched) are the rangers from Akihabara, an unofficial sentai that came out around 10 years ago, its unnoficial despite being made by toei, the company that makes Super sentai, but it was teo extra seasons outside of the main line of seasons from Goranger to Boomboomger

Unofficial Sendai akiabaranger. It’s a parody show of super Sentai and was released without super sentai executives knowing about it. They used off the shelf suits and modified most of them so they would not get hit with copyright like the original power rangers suits they literally bought two new ones and replaced the white parts with American flag designs, the helmet were molded from a cast of a helmet that is easily available anywhere. It’s so easy to create a cast like that. Just paint and it looks good for tv. Honestly I still don’t know why it was allowed but when execs saw the popularity they jumped on and made the show better.

Super Sentai was created basically as a what if Kamen Rider have 5 guys instead of 1 though these days Kamen Rider is pretty loose with numbers, a season could have from 1 to 30 kamen rider it all depend on the type of story really thanks to the diversity though and usually darker story Kamen Rider have always been the most successful in the genre
