Thank you for posting this. I am not new to MMO's but am brand new to WoW. I have horrible performance anxiety in group play, and knowing that most of the community is seasoned in this game, it makes it even more stressful. I appreciate the info!

pull and wipe, also terms I don't know. pls explain if this is a beginners guide. I'm sorry if this comes across as nitpicky, but acronyms that aren't explained are like my biggest pet peeve, it just really bugs me. Overall good video though, I'm learning how to play a healer paladin as my first character.

Pull is when you attract aggro (the enemies attack you, generally it's the tank's job) from bosses and other creatures. Wipe I think it's when you either kill a group of creatures or when the boss kills your party.

Thanks for the video! I'm playing a paladin and queued in as a tank for a level 40 dungeon a while ago and got kicked within 5 minutes (I think I pulled too many mobs) despite letting them know I'm new and to feel free to direct me. I think I'm gonna try DPS for a while lol

Nothin wrong with learning the ropes thru dps first, it’s where the fundamentals are really learned too

Tanky, you still playing? I read your comment and felt bad for your. Yea man, playing tank as a newbie is definitely a quick way to get booted from a group lol. Stick with dps roles first and you will understand more of the tempo of dungeons. Pally is a great choice for tank though. Hopefully your still playing.

Great beginner’s guide 😀. But could you explain a little more about Addons and how to loot in dungeons. I have Heard that you can get good armor in those but sometimes it feels like I don’t get anything just money. 😳. One more thing is pets are they the same or dose it matter which you chose?

Just started playing and I'm a newbie healer. When I play a dungeon I don't have the colourful health bars on the left like yours, I have each teammates avatar. I'm trying to click on them to heal but it's not targeting my teammates and it's just healing myself. I'm so confused as to what I'm doing wrong!

On FFXIV I can Tank my nuggets off and as a healer I’m pretty solid but when I try it on this game lol I end up just leaving the dungeon :( but I keep letting the group down and it sucks

I Know your struggle. Wow puts a whole new level expectation and curve on you like no other. I specifically main Main tank and healer in ff but when I tried to transfer all of that knowledge to wow, It didn't work at all. It really put in perspective how different each game is and how much the games and dev team can grow and better their games. Much respect for both FF and Wow. Good luck in your future dungeon runs and keep at it don't Give up!

I tried my first dungeon as dps and got kicked out of the group for dying and getting separated from everyone :(

Haha that same thing happened to me yesterday, was my third dungeon, died and lost the group, didn't even know what I was doing wrong at the moment the leader was yelling at me and got instantly kicked out. Here I am now trying to learn how the whole thing works and hopefully not suck 😅
