Yeah, you say that people have to "listen" but that goes both ways. I do understand that the cops need to be checked. I have had the shit beat out of by me by a cop with his baton, when I was totally complying with his directions, and Im white, but I do know that overall somehow they have to stop the death sentence shootings and beatings. However Colin Kaepernick went about it all wrong. When he was playing real good and gaining fame as the 49ers starting quarterback he didn't say anything about injustices. Instead he strutted around with his superman necklace and flexed his biceps while the camera was on him. Then, after her got benched for abysmal playing and he wasn't in the limelight he started kneeling about police brutality. First of all he should have done it another time instead of kneeling for the National Anthem. That was sure to piss off a lot of people who then didn't want to hear what he had to say. He could have knelt when he was in the limelight instead of flexing and bragging about how good he was. If he would have approached it differently his mesage would have come across much better.

The issue with Kapernich, was that he was Kneeling during the National Anthem. You don't kneel during that song. Period. Because the act of Kneeling is something you do to your Master and/or Royalty. America approves of neither of those. He chose a very bad moment to (not) make a stand. While I agree with Kapernichs message at the time, he should have picked a better moment to kneel than during that song.

Comedy works by highlighting a point through exaggeration. Ironically, Bill's exaggeration is nuance. He's flipping society's exaggeration (believe all women, believe no women) around on itself. It's a great thing, because a hell of a lot of what's wrong with society can be traced back to a lack of nuance.
