@@Danny4rb Everyone's hands are different. I say if you played vanilla try to find a screenshot of what you used back then so it's already in muscle memory. Otherwise I use similar keys for actions or for speed. Like I use the same button for backstab and ambush, garrote and rupture. I want to cheap shot as fast as possible so stealth and cheap shot are the same. Stuff like that. A skill you rarely use like feint should be inconvenient and out of the way. I don't really go over specifics because unlike a lot of gamers I don't use my pinky at all while most people would use that for shift or ctrl or whatever.

Yo you're on my server, skeram! Instead of rccportraits, just use omnicc for cc in portrait as it doesn't remove dragons or anything. Leatrix plus is also recommended since u already use leatrixmaps and you can make some adjustments to frames like adding dragons to your own portrait and most things that lazypig used to do. Key bindings depend on your hands. I don't use pinkys so mine are a little different than most. I tend to hotkey similar things to the same key, like ambush and backstab are both the same key bind. Things I want to spam like stealth into cheap shot are the same key. I use 1-4, q, e, r, v, (t is auto attack and f is target assist.) Then I use shift+ all of those keys, along with shift + WASD, then I use CTRL and all of those keys, with ~ being auto run, shift+~ being auto follow. I use middle click to flip camera to check behind me which I have my mouse set to middle click on the side button because I find it easier than using middle click.

My best wow moment was when I was facing Buddhist on his priest on a 2v2 TBC server, he was rogue priest vs me on mage and my buddy on rogue. I played rogue myself too so I was able to plot his rogue friends movement in the undercity arena and unstealth him with my first R1 blizzard resulting in a quick win. Wish I had it recorded :( side note: they had full BiS and we had S2/S3 mix so 8-15% gear difference too :O

Great and informative video! I like the 39 and 49 brackets, but have not played my rouge in a while and just starting to play him again. He is UD and I have some toons to fund his gear. For 49, what would you choose for the talents and also, do you recommend still a high damage sword, say Bloodrazor in the MH and then a quick dagger in the OH, like Shadowblade? Also, is Hemo spec still the optimal spec at the lower level?

The discord had a convo about this subject. I never twinked higher brackets but they suggested a prep spec specializing in daggers for the 1-shot potential. When I twinked in vanilla I went combat in the 21-30 bracket (Before it was changed to 20-29 mind you.)

If you want to be better at pve go human but if you want a slight edge on mages go gnome. If you think you can transition it to TBC / WotLK go human for the later buffed racial.

What would the general rotation for an ambush rogue be, should i open with the normal stun lock hemo rotation for some dmg and try to finish by restealthing with a gouge or blind into ambush or should i try to get 2 consecutive ambushes Also great vid learned a lot from the matchups

It doesn't feel whole without tea or trickery charm, but it'd be something like cheap shot -> sinister (I know not a stab move but we'll get to that.) -> gouge -> death ray & bomb dispenser -> kidney shot -> backstab -> blind -> repeat. Once you get the trickery charm or tea it's basically just cheap shot -> backstab -> tea -> backstab -> backstab -> kidney -> trickery -> backstab -> backstab.

Yo bro i just have a couple questions, what about autoattacking? does that not matter really at 60? waiting for autoattacks to go thru? like should i be spamming hemo as hard as i can?(because shadowcraft 6 set gives random energy) or like x2 hemos wait for autoattack to go thru then keep going?, and also is there any reason to pool energy? like if you cheap, just 1 hemo into kidney? maybe dont waste all of your hemo`s to make a bigger kidney? just kidney at 3-4 points , try to pool energy and spam hemos into the kidney?(since target takes more dmg in kidneys?), and what about Hit%? 5% right?, even if I have to replace Hoj and Blackhands breath? just for thr 5% hit? is it that important? or try to use the juicy trinkets and throw in hit wherever i else can?

You don't have to worry about auto attacks unless you're doing PvE as the only thing that resets your auto attack swing timer is sword spec procs and HoJ.

Mass of McGowan does the same top end as Krol Blade just without the 1% crit (Which won't matter cause you're using cold blood anyway.). I mention in the guide not to bother with resist gear for pvp.

@@eddie4691 It's semi-pre-bis until you get Dal'Rends from UBRS if you can bother. With lucky thrash procs you out dps other rogues anyway and with 6 piece shadowcraft you should be fine to raid. You can go daggers but you'll under perform. I have gutgore / core hound as daggers and a rogue with blue swords still tops me sometimes.

Would you still do the default rotation against other rogues? If they don't die to the death ray + cold blood evis then they could blind/gouge you right away.

If they don't die they're rocking full stam buffs and a titans flask. (Or it's Alterac Valley.) You could kidney instead of eviscerate then reset and eventually eviscerate or just eviscerate with 4 points before cheap shot ends but 100% of rogues should die to the opener.

Seal fate is a group PvP spec meant mostly for premade battlegrounds so you'll always be 5 point kidney shotting the assist target. That's pretty much it.

Once you sap them, position yourself to be 90 degrees facing away from them, but still in range to cheap shot, but in a way you're too far away to attack. Once you do that, it will add 2-3 combo points, but keep them in sap. You can try a /cast cheap shot /stopattack macro but I find them to break sometimes.

I still really enjoy dwarf. Shadow Reflector trinket is good enough for now until I get the mats farmed for blacksmith 1-300. Why dwarf? Turn your brain off vs other rogues. They stoneform out of blind is generally enough to win any fight, even vs an orc. Also its been helping me with deadzone kitting warriors which for me is much harder now. Its also saved me a stupid amount of times from hunters with serpent sting.

Ofc the undead have it easy vs priests but I just love Night Elf rogues. They fit better to the ninja style of rogue and have a slightly better chance at saping first due to the shadowmeld passive. Of course I wish I was undead every time I was feared by a priest or lock, but now with the pvp trinkets things are getting better.

Because your trinket goes on cooldown, and if you aren't undead a 2nd fear is game over.

@@SwoleBenji haven't had much experience with it myself, i used it for a bit then got rid of it. as far as i remember you install bluestacks, run the installer, log in with your google account, install twitter and it should be fine. not completely sure if bluestacks supports twitter or anything but its worth a shot.

It auto swaps to carrot, spurs, and riding gloves when mounted, and is supposed to switch off to your other items when not.

Good server choice. It seems everyone is transferring there. Mages will always give you trouble and are one of the hardest matchups. I have text versions of what to do in the Discord (Link in the description) VS each class under the PvP section. Check it out if the video isn't clear enough.

Dwarf rogues win in rogue vs rogue because of stoneform right? Stoneform + Vanish macro is kind of like a poor man's cloak of shadows in classic :P

If you're fast or bait out the stoneform you can still CC them but it is much more difficult. Usually rogue vs rogue is whoever gets the opener anyway.
