Nice! Thanks for posting. Have you considered Amplify Magic for added healing versus pure melee pulls, or is there a reason you don't use this? Also have any advice for a good horde mage farm? I feel like RFC is not quite optimal considering DM is soloable

I should be using amp magic for sure on almost all pulls even the caster ones tbh. You resist so many of their spells amp magic prolly fine. That being said yeah should be using amp magic on melee pulls, assuming it works on our heals that is. I havent tried any other dungeons yet, my main gold farm is the murlocs in wetlands. Really easy to aoe farm.

at 4:33 theres still 1 mob next to the boss, but you cut the video. How did you kill that without pulling both?

Yeah I meant to keep that bit in but fucked up the edit. At the top of the ramp u can jump down and land on a little pipe thats attached to the big forge in the middle of the room. I burst the add down then run up there, jump on the pipe thing and reset the boss. I have killed them both together but its really really hard. Gotta reset after killing the add.

Well sometimes when video cuts the time on your clock jumps 20+ mins and it only took you 1 hour and half 🤦🏽‍♂️

Didnt want to make it a 20 minute+ video showing every trash pull. Made sure to show off how i kill each mob type atleast once. The long cuts are either moments where I died and had to run back or moments I got up to go pee or something. I died twice cuz of living flame resisting, and that run back sucks.

How much gph is this? Or how long it takes to do 1 run and how much g y'll receive after vendoring?

I never checked for an accurate gph because it felt pretty bad. The vendor is far and the clear time is slow. I knew other farms I was doing were better gold for sure. Working on a video right now thats an AoE mage guild that contains my current favorite gold farm in it. Hopefully its out tomorrow!

Yes, recorded it this morning. Most of the self healing comes from living flame and arcane blast tbh.

@@matthewreid4748 He does hit very hard and was one of the harder bosses for me for sure. How much stam you got on your gear? You might need more hp, but its really just a dps race and sometimes u gotta kite and wait for your second living flame.

when the shredder dies you just run to a reset spot and wait for combat to drop, then prepare to fight him. I use the logs at the entrance of the room. he hits much harder than the shredder but can be frozen

I'll be honest, and I say this as a fellow mage, it seems ridiculous that we're able to do this. I feel like it needs some kind of tweak, maybe a long cooldown on living bomb and a damage increase so we can't spam it but it remains worthwhile, or maybe living flame should only do fire damage and not heal, maybe healing on ourselves should be reduced so we can't solo dungeons that are the same or almost the same level as us, but this seems too strong.

Yeah, as someone who has done all the classic mage farms from ZG to Dire Maul, we are gonna be able to do INSANE things at 60 if things go unchecked lol

tbh i have no problem with a mage soloing a lvl 20 dungeon. Make other classes able to do similar stuff, who cares it's a seasonal server, go wild
