How do you take zero damage when the impending doom on loatheb is a magic debuff which deals shadow damage, not a poison?

You can soak the poison aura with a NPP which you can prepop, instead of throwing all kinds of other consumes at it on Loatheb.

Why are you using/recommending poison resistance/cleansing consumes? The paladins look like they are constantly re-applying judgement of light, which will keep the melee healed through the poison aura, and surely you would want to take the damage to get more rage (assuming you want to minmax)? If the aura were such an issue, a regular NPP would probably serve the same effect, but with far less focus and clicking required (unless you are speed running I suppose where there isn't time to pop - but even under this circumstance you would have a slot for the nature pot as you would likely be killing loatheb before the first doom cast), but even then checking some of Progress' parses I can see your warriors taking the aura damage + using bloodrage and still being able to heal to full with simple lifesteal mechanics?

The footage is from a practice speedrun - there's no reason not to use poison cleanse. Sure you can save gold but you also save the healers mana when loatheb dies and you can continue with trash right away without having to heal everyone up. As for the guide itself its meant for normal guilds that kill it in 3-5 minutes hence why poison cleansing frees up your MRP so you can use those instead of GSPP/GNPP.

What does that have to do with each other :p ? The jol is gonna heal you either way - also not everyone plays alliance - I always do guides for the general public where possible.

Using poison cleanses alliance side sub 2:40 doesn't seem to serve a purpose - It's somewhat jarring because the guide is how to parse higher, which means alliance side *shouldn't* use them till at least 2:40 as they will be able to safely heal themselves (even if they bloodrage/sapper), and output more with the extra rage during that time. I am also curious as to why you would do this as an alliance speed runner if you are killing the boss before the first doom is even cast and presumably able to keep yourself at 100% hp? Using MRP in the first 2 minutes of the fight makes complete sense, but recommending it over a GSPP to the general public post 2 minutes seems to be a really dangerous bit of advice; even if using flasks/stam w buffs, and whipper roots, you will likely die on the 4th unabsorbed doom at the 4:10 mark (if not on the 3rd pending buffs/consumes). I know that w buffs and flasks are a given for minmaxing, but titans is not a direct dps increase, yet is outright required for this strat to work in combination with a healthstone if the fight goes on for too long; I mention these as you bring up the tuber in the vid but not the titans/HS that would supplement you through an extra doom, and I don't think all dps minmaxers will always opt for titans as opposed to just ensuring they have the raw dps consumes and probably the stam DMT buff (more out of convenience as it is on the way to the other buff). I would only feel comfortable using MRP a second time if it was guaranteed the raid would kill him sub 3:30 before the 3rd doom is cast if I were horde, or before the 4th at 4:00 if alliance (assuming I use poison cleansing consumes in both instances). I feel this is an important distinction to mention if you are choosing to forego GSPPs, as killing the boss around the 3 minute mark seems to be at the higher-end bracket of performance of 'normal guilds' - most are probably killing him post 3:40 on average, and I suspect it is even higher than this. Lastly, the video mentions the possibility of using a 3rd MRP after the 4 minute mark but I honestly cannot see a scenario using only 1 GSPP in the whole fight, where this is likely to happen without the player dying? Surely if the fight is going on this long you would want to pop a GSPP here?

Quick question for Lotheb (My understanding is a little scuffed) - Are you effectively instantly dispelling the poision every time you get the debuff? Are you using a combation of all anti venoms or or can you just use the one. & I assume it's all three and they share a different cooldown?

Hey bud, I am - ive used it since AQ more or less. You use all three - they dont share cd like you say and then an elixir as the last sentence in the macro =). But now atleast on my server prices have dropped on elixirs so theyre only 2g.

That's a very good question I have yet to dive into - tbh I use the same gear - I guess you could pop on lionheart helm etc for more hit since you're more or less at 100% crit. So I guess priority would be more ap and hit =)

What do you think of badge of the swarm guard of bosses? Better just to pop for trash and cleave bosses? With my guild longer kill times feeling ES and dflask aren’t getting much use. Also have DFT

You should be using kots during execute phase only unless you can use it 2 times in one fight. Pop kots right before popping recklessness for maximum value

Hey bud, Well in these guides i assume you're fully world buffed - so the 2% hit wont do you as much good versus using ES etc. Also sims overvalue hit :) ES/flask always gives you atleast ~80 ap over the fight duration.

Mark of the champion and dft are bis for loatheb cause of the amount of ap and the hit% helps to increase your crit cap

@@HiTxMaN93 crit cap isn’t really a think for wars since HS more or less doesn’t have one, so only OH. I believe most people on something like loatheb run Seal and Mark together once you get it.

Reason to use hs/cleave on mousewheel is it helps you to always have them active, using scroll on bt/ww doesnt really benefit you much

People that need a map for Heigan just wont make it. They need to know what to look for on their screen. Starting from position 1, just simply look for the edge of where poison spews out in position 2. Then, just moved past that edge and repeat. Don't try to walk to fast, don't try stopwatches or speed pots, don't stand too close to the platform. Just look for the edge of the poison and walk past it.

When fights are that short, you go straight into execute phase and have insane DPS for all warriors. You also gain insane DPS from rage pots on short encouters. So with NO REK and NO DW you can still parse good. But try to parse on a guild that is not 1 phasing everyboss ... 99.9% of the guilds are not , nothing to learn here its just showoff, skiping all game mechanis with 20 rank 14 zugzug warriors breaking the game into pieces, still fun to watch, i can understand that some players like it this way

Hey there, Thanks for your input - can you explain to me how we go straight into execute phase? Also execute phase is still at 20% and for that matter the shorter the fight the shorter the execute duration the less executes so that is definitely not why its easier to parse. It's all about shorters fights = higher cooldown uptime. Btw rank 14 gear was already "outdated" in phase 5 :) - p5 bis pve gear > r14 gear.

Yea he can be a rough one if everyone in raid doesnt follow instructions to prepop shadow pots etc. But if you poison cleanse this will definitely help dmg taken and you can extend the fight a whole lot!
