WOW Classic BIS loot priority list for Warriors for Phase 6 when Naxxramas releases.
I will go through what items are Best in slot the rest of the game, which items are the biggest dps upgrade, highest to lowest, and I will talk about the "decent" dps upgrades.
Remember the items you should get yourself first depends on your specific gear and there's no correct answer to how your priority should be.
But if you still have phase 2-3 BIS Items, you should definitely aim to replace those first!

Those weapons are gonna be hard to come by. Do you think Hatchet of Sundered Bone for an orc will be good enough and try to prio the other items on your list? We have 10 dps warriors, 2 tanks, and 5-6 rogues... I think at most I'd probably get 2-3 items before everyone starts quitting.

Haha - dont take me on the word. There is a lot of things to take into account especially with loot council, how well does the person perform, is he always fully buffed and ready to pump. One could also argue orcs should get it first since they sim highest of all the races because of their racial etc etc. Also wouldn't say Non orcs/human should get prio on gloves till they actually have hungering cold :) since its useless until then.

Indeed - weirdly enough according to guybrush - CoaF has one more dps than qiraji/quickstrike as alliance that is. guybrushgit.github.io/WarriorSim/ Either way just go with either them QSR/coaf as ally. QSR / qiraji as horde.

I'm an Orc with 10% hit. I just got Gressil. If I'm using Gressil MH, and Crul'shorukh OH, do I need edgies? I'm wondering what the DPS difference will be between edgies, and gauntlets of annihilation? Is the glancing and dodge penalty going to be too high until I can get a Hungering Cold?

I've simmed it before and i've seen aroound a 100-120 dps loss when youve gone to 300 weap skill. So I would probably get edgies yea ;p or pray for thc next raid rofl - just sim it on guybrush and make up your mind from that =)

If you had to choose between DFT and the Spider trinket, which would you go for? Assuming you're fully hit capped, my understanding is that DFT is basically more overall dps as a passive trinket whereas the other would be an okay passive trinket with the added bonus of the attack speed. I also think people are underrating the spider tinket especially on boss fights but at the same time I don't know if its worth losing out on all raw damage.

Quick strike ring / Coaf sim the same as alliance - so use either. Its mentioned in my last p6 weapon video too :). Yes you can still use the leather shoulders - but personally id prefer to be full plate =) Its a matter of taste.

Hi, Rank 14 and 13 gear is already "worse" than phase 5 bis gear, so yes.

FOR EDGEMASTER USERS: I ran four sims comparing different weapon configurations using the fight clubs fury sim. World buffs used were Rallying Cry, DMT buffs, ZG, Songflower and WCB. I used the P6 PvE bis set listed on the the sim, but obviously changed the weapons and gloves. Ran with a dwarf race. 1. One sim ran edgemasters along with Hatchet of Sundered Bone and Maexxna’s Fang(I personally don’t see myself getting Kingsfall as I’d rather it go to rogues). 1544 dps 2. This sim I ran edgemasters with Sundered Bone/Kingsfall just to see how big of a difference it would make for me. 1554 dps 3. The next sim I ran with Gressil/The Hungering Cold and R12 gauntlets(not getting GoA over human warriors atm obviously). 1550 dps. 4. Ran this sim with Gressil/The Hungering Cold also but replaced R12 gauntlets with GoA. 1575 dps. Conclusion: Comparing sim #3 to sim #1 gives only a 6 dps increase, while also requiring that you get both swords off KT(good luck). Obviously sim 4 is about a 30 dps increase but means you’ll need to get both swords from KT as well as GoA ahead of other warriors. These 2 scenario don’t seem plausible in my mind unless you’re running a solo loot council consisting of yourself. If you can manage to get all 3 of these items as an edgemaster warrior, more power to you. Best of luck everyone.

You’re comparing naxx weapons with naxx weapons which doesn’t make sense. Every warrior going into phase 6 should know exactly the weapons he wants to opimize his damage. I myself picked up AQ gauntlets on my gnome, so if I replaced edgemasters and r14 offhand it will be a huge boost to me.

Imo Hungering Cold should be Tank prio. We need to get beefed up aswell if we're to follow with the DPS's power spike in P6

Functionally, hungering cold adds a big chunk of survivability, Because it lets you wear steadfast determination, wrath, or Annihilation (if you can convince the DPS to pass GoA to tanks, lol) instead of edgemasters, which only has ~200 armor, and no stam or avoidance. Improving your armor by >330, and stam by at least 15, as well as ~2% avoidance on wrath and GoSD makes surviving a lot easier.. The amount of threat it adds is probably a little less than it might seem, and is mostly tied up in the glove slot, as it doesn't have any hit/crit/AP, where lots of other options do have that. The high DPS Is good, but only boosts your autos/HS, while weapons with crit/AP continues to boost bloodthirst (and revenge). It is of course BIS for tanks, and TF tanks should have prio over all others.

I am still using R10 head and shoulders instead of LHH, Conq. 40 AP sounds better than 2 hit and 1 crit considering im orc with axes at 9% hit, Am I correct in thinking the AP is scaling higher than 2 hit if im already at 9%?

I'd say so yes. You gotta remember in p5/p6 you are over hitcap by atleast 1-3 % so that extra hit from Lionheart is not really worth with hs queueing opposed to getting 21 stam + 40 ap over 2 % hit and 0.8 crit. (sims value hit too much) Since ap is your main stat + increases ALL your dmg sources + you easily get above 50 % crit worldbuffed so crit will only benefit your yellow attacks. I guess its a matter of taste but I ain't riding glasscannon in naxx. Also please remember a sim is not perfect so you gotta use your brains too =). You will benefit from 40 ap the entire fight - hit and crit is more rng based.

Why using two on use trinkets?! I thought it was best to have 1 passive and one on use. Is it because you could squeeze in two uses in a 1 minute fight? Would that still be better than having the passive trinket up the entire fight?

For which fight? It depends a lot on your raid setup - the only times i use two is badge + ES/flask on trash etc.

I've been simming a silly setup, kingsfall deaths sting with aged core leather gloves. I think with dmf you get enough rage to queue heroic strike. Any bis weapon setup will piss the rogues off.

Well - you can use both in a 40 second fight - but other trinkets become better the longer the fight - it really depends on a lot of factors.

I'm not sure what you're simming with so we can't really compare here - either way i'd use both trinkets in a 40sec fight (problem solved.) Slayer's crest provides you with more beneficial stats than kiss does since you benefit 100% from slayer's versus kiss stats. 64 passive ap and 264 for 20 seconds. that's around 11% AP increase when you pop it when buffed for the avg warrior aka 11% more dmg on everything. Kiss of the spider on the other hand gives you hit (which you already have too much in the remaining phases) and 1 % crit you are already capped on white attacks so it only benefits your yellow attacks. (so ~60% of your dmg sources) and then it gives you 20% haste for 15 seconds - sure its awesome with haste like wcb. But as alliance it only provides you with more white attacks + more rage (rage which you usually have plenty of fully wbuffed.) As for horde it has more benefits since they can get more mh WF procs. On top of that more white attacks - white attacks is only around 30-40%(usually 20-30% when I raid - classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/vK2mY4qZVt1nzDCj#fight=12&type=damage-done&source=30) of your total dmg in a fight where as Slayer gives you basically 11% dmg increase on ALL dmg sources for 5 seconds more when its used versus increased white dmg + more procs on wf (as horde).

@@DamnboiTV haha yeah having both would be nice :D. But in your analysis you're forgetting that you would be hitting heroic strikes more quickly too which is another 30% of your dmg. Also, dont underestimate rage generation for execute phase. I am alliance human btw, and the sims show kiss is always better. In addition to my own setup, I also used your p6 bis gear list (with slayer swapped for mark of champion) and clicked "SHEET DPS" for "Trinket 2" page (where kiss was selected). In a 40 second fight, Slayer crest was 50 DPS worse than Kiss according to guybrush sims. I think its a 40 dps difference with a 50-60 sec fight. You can get the same results that I did (I used 1% haste librams in sim). BTW, I do recognize that haste isn't as good on trash packs, but its BIS on boss fights. Again, easy solution = just get both (lol)
