Curve confused me when i started raiding, but i quickly learned that it meant the achievement "ahead of the curve" which is given to you by defeating the last raid boss of the current raid at heroic difficulty, before the next raid is released. This is often a requirement to join certain PuG since they want to avoid players that have not defeated the boss and may cause the battle to fail.

QQ is not a set of crying eyes. It actually originated with the advent of Warcraft II. On battlenet, you could press ALT+Q+Q to immediately exit the match and program. Thus the term "QQ" was to tell people to just quit because they are unskilled.

Great video for new players. Just to be complete - threat is also generated by healing spells, that is why healers usually get aggro when someone accidentally pulls new mob in raid or group

I enjoyed this video. I played for 6 years from vanilla through Wrath, until my account was stolen and banned. I decided not to make a new account after that. I have been keeping up with the game from time to time, but all the new dungeon abbreviations are unknown to me. Would you please do another abbreviation video to explain the dungeons and their shorthand forms, I.e. ICC = Ice Crown Citadel. I'm sure many new players will appreciate it as well.

FOTM is commonly used in PVP, whereas in PVE not that many people care about best performance/class/spec to improve their progression, unless your'e in top 30 guilds in the World. In PvP its much more common for people to roll FOTM class just for an easy arena grind. Funny fact is that fotm classes in pvp are mostly used in lower mmr/rating, whilest in higher mmr people tend to adapt best strategies, which may or may not include fotm class.

QQ is not used because it 'looks like crying eyes emoji'. It's been in use since well before WoW launched in 2004, which is much earlier than emojis were invented. It's actually from Alt+Q+Q in WarCraft II, which immediately exited the game, i.e. - a rage quit. A simple google search would have told you that much. Saying 'QQ' to someone who was complaining (usually) because they were being beat was just telling them to quit if they had that much of a problem with the current game.
