For cleaning the oven, spray your oven cleaner and then cover the product in plastic wrap so it doesn't dry out! then you can let is "soak" for as long as you want As I'm typing this I feel like you could try it with the trays too. Cover them in oven cleaner and wrap them in plastic wrap and let them sit for a day or so. I haven't tried it on the trays but now I'm going to next time

One of my other favorite cleaners is Auri Katerina. She does this thing where she sprays oven cleaner, puts plastic wrap over the cleaner so it doesn't dry. Depending on the state of the oven, she leaves it for a few hours to overnight. I love watching you clean Cambriea and each video is a comfort.

When I clean my oven, I soak my racks in the bath with some washing powder, leave it for a good hour in really hot water, then I clean them with a wire wool scrubber. Does the job every time. The enzymes in the washing powder break down the burnt on stuff. Hope this helps.

I dont watch for motivation. Im severe OCB. My home stays spotless and I'm raising my 4yo granddaughter. I watch because its oddly satisfying to watch. Once again... I'm OBSESSED with your kitchen back splash. Great choice ❤ Edited to add... use oven cleaner on the racks then sos pad. My favorite oven cleaning combo. I also use a scraper on the oven after the cleaner has sat for a few. You can leave the cleaner over night by putting saran wrap over it... obviously you dont want to use heat.

Cambria, I have been watching your channel for several years. I really enjoyed your Hoarder series. I have two suggestions to help with your oven. 1. Place an oven liner over the bottom. I love mine. You can use with temps up to 450 degrees. 2. For cleaning the oven racks I place them in the bathtub and add these pods I got from Grove Collaborative, called Cookware and Bakeware cleaner pods. A little nugget my mom thought me 50 years ago. Once you have your racks clean , cover them with foil. Just simply wrap the whole rack in foil( like your wrapping a gift lol). The heat will stay even , it helps the temperature on the bottom of the dish you are cooking and easy clean up! ❤

Oven Racks - Easiest way for me is to put them in a garbage bag, add 1 cup ammonia, close tightly and let sit in the sun all day. Rinse with garden hose. May need to wipe before rinsing but not usually. TBH - I usually clean my oven overnight after dinner. Remove racks and put in garbage bag with ammonia overnight, then let sit in sun all day. Spray the oven and let it sit overnight. Yes it will dry out but it gets MOST of it clean with little scrubbing the next day. You can put plastic wrap on the bottom after spraying and that does help. BUY the silicone/teflon sheets for the oven floor. Worth every penny and they are inexpensive! If something spills, you just wipe it off the sheet... easy peasy.

My mom is a housekeeper for close to 20 years. Spray your oven with easy off oven cleaner (fume free if you want) and let it sit overnight. Clean and if there's any spots left, spray and let sit for a few hours. If you have any stubborn spots, make sure you remove all other cleaners and then use some salt and soft scrub!! The salt works as an abrasive without scratching your oven! It works beautifully everytime!

The soft scrub and salt also is a lifesaver for glass stove tops!! Its her secret to getting them looking new again when you get burnt on spots that don't want to come off!

For the racks, I cover with the oven cleaner and put them in a black trash bag, but I make sure the trash bag is laid right on top of the racks usually won’t dry, but it seems to let it soak better and everything comes off easier to!

The self clean on the oven is honestly the easiest and the cleanest you are going to get the oven for the least amount of work. In the summer I'd recommend doing it when you guys are going to be away for the day but it is amazing. Just wipe the crusties out after it's cooled off and you're good. No spray required!

Oven racks your mom has the right idea. However just use the cleaner you used to spray out your oven. Racks in a garbage bag, spray with cleaner, seal and bake in the sun. I do this, works every time, no scrubbing just rinse.

For my oven racks…I put a towel down in the bathtub and put hot hot hot water (mostly from the tap but a few kettles of boiling water) with 2 or 3 dishwasher pods (I use melaleuca brand). Leave it overnight. Next day I use a scrub brush to get stubborn spots and then just rinse!

As far as cleaning your oven...spray the interior with oven cleaner then cover over night with plastic wrap. The wrap will keep the cleaner moist so it can do it's job. The next day take the wrap off and wipe clean. Hope this helps ❤

First. I used Better Help recently and it was so helpful! Glad you are spreading the word. Second, I watch aurikaterina, a you tuber from Finland and she uses oven cleaner on her stove and oven, then covers it with plastic wrap like Saran, she leaves it for 24 hours if she can and the gunk just melts off. She is cleaning very filthy homes so you may not have to wait that longHope that helps. Keep up the great work🥰

Cambriea, I saw a gal keep the oven cleaner moist by putting Saran Wrap over the oven cleaner. She kept the Saran Wrap on for about 5 or 6 hours and the mess was liquified and just an easy wipe. Hope this works for you. 😊

I clean my oven racks by taking them outside put on a bunch of old newspapers and spray both sides with easy off oven cleaner. Let sit while you clean the rest of the oven then bring inside and clean in sink with Brillo. Wear rubber gloves.

I put my oven racks in a big black trash bag take outside spray with oven cleaner really good lay bag on the hot drive way in the sunshine. Heat works well with the oven cleaner. Wait 2 hrs rinse scrub over with a big tire brush rinse let dry Done!!

I cleaned my oven with a homemade paste of baking soda, dawn dish soap and distilled white vinegar. I applied the paste and let it sit for a few hours. I filled an empty spray bottle with a half and half mix of white vinegar and hot water and began spraying and wiping the paste away until the residue was gone. I like the results I got but I didn’t reach a perfectly new look, but it was close to new looking.

I have struggled with that concept until I moved into an apartment with very old appliances. My neighbor shared a hack that brought my entire stove to that brand new look. spray the area with oven cleaner and cover it with saran wrap so that absolutely no air gets through and leave it overnight. The next day, use the very same saran wrap to scoop off the loosened grease and toss it followed by the use of paper towels. then I use the power paste with a scrub daddy and dawn with anything left behind. I have never found a method that works as efficiently and effectively as that one to restore the original lock of an oven or stove.

The oven came up great Cambriea when I clean my oven I turn it on for ten minutes then turn it off and before it is completely cold I clean it the heat softens all the burnt on pieces,have a lovely weekend with your family 😊❤

I have from my mom and her mom and my other grandma learned to apply a generous amount of soft soap, (I don't know if this is a general name for an old basic soap, like what is called brown soap is here in Denmark. I can make a small film showing the quite fluid texture of the soap, if wanted), to the oven and the racks in the oven and turn it on till it reaches 100C or 212F. Turn off the oven and wait till its cold. Like apply the soap in evening, wait till it's on the tempreture and then turn off the oven and go to bed. Next morning you should be able to use a sponge like Scrub Daddy and soft cloth and plain water. I have used ovencleaners and other cleaners but the old way is relatively work efficient. It's not a guarantee it will be clean in the first go, but after e or two goes it should be clean. Only very stubborn spots and cracks might need more scrubbing.

Maybe spray the oven down with the oven cleaner and then cover it with Saran Wrap and let it sit like a couple hours and then try to clean it? The Saran Wrap will help the cleaner stay wet if that makes sense so it doesn’t just dry on.

Aurikaterina (sp?) recommends putting plastic wrap on the areas where you've applied oven cleaner to keep it from drying out. I think putting the oven racks in a garbage bag then spraying them with oven cleaner and leaving them overnight would be a good idea. I used oven cleaner and plastic wrap on an incredibly grubby linoleum floor and it made it look like new.

The trick to using oven cleaner over night is cling wrap. You spray the oven cleaner and then you press the cling wrap down on it trapping in the moister and letting the oven cleaner work.

for you oven! 100% in the inside of your oven and even the racks, use it. BUT you need to take the racks out on towels and lay them on plastic wrap! yes the whole rack at once wrapped in plastic wrap and saturated in oven cleaner, let it sit for an hour! same with the inside of your oven :) all you do is spray the sides and bottoms with the product nice and saturated too and place the plastic wrap on the sides and bottom, back. also let it sit for at hbour at minimum and then clean with warm damp scrub daddy! racks and oven itself will look brand spanking new! I use that trick in all my clients houses!

Whenever I clean my oven I just leave the racks sitting in the bottom of the oven and spray them with the oven cleaner too, let it sit for a few hours or overnight, then to scrub the racks I put them in the bathtub as I have a tiny sink and they come up shiny and new looking!

I've cleaned our oven grates in the tub with dryer sheets. It does work. I use the sheets to rub off the grates after waiting a few hours and the stuff comes ofg. Need to do it again lol

A pumice scouring stick makes burnt-on oven gunk come right off. Just follow the instructions and it does not damage the oven coating/enamel at all. It’s a game changer.

If they really need it use Easy Off Oven cleaner on them, rinse well, then scrub with S.O.S. Pads--you can use the SOS pads inside your oven too--can scrub then leave on for a period of time (however long you want) then rescrub and rinse
