To my fellow ‘Cambrieanites’ hehe I was just thinking that for the days we just don’t feel like cleaning, we should only compare ourselves with… ourselves. Some days are harder than others and taking time off is just fine! Sometimes, putting our responsibilities for tomorrow is the only reasonable thing to do, so, make a list of chores for tomorrow and then, make a list of kind things you can do today for you! Read a book, take a nap, call a friend, etc., so we get to check out a ‘kind check list’ and don’t feel as we did ‘nothing’ Love from Montreal 💕💕💕

In Australia the big 6 week break for schools is over Christmas. They start there holidays 17th December and go back 30th January. Plus there are 3 other short 2week breaks though the year.

Waterproof mattress pad will save your mattresses majorly. That's the advice my mother gives to everyone. She worked in a furniture store for many years. It's amazing how many people don't consider them.

I loved it as a kid when the Summer Holidays came, I grew up in a small village in Ireland and there was always daily adventures and bike rides to keep us kids well entertained. Swimming in the river and always working on the tree house. Kids back then, we had no time for the Telly or video games.

Over the past few months I've bought 24 forks, spoons, and soup spoons. I've also bought a dozen cereal bowls. I have a 20 year old grandson. We now have 3 forks, 4 spoons, 6 soup spoons, and 2 bowls! Mom and dad go looking, but can't find. I suspect they're in the car or have long been trashed! So, it never stops!!

Good morning Cambriea, I wanted to say in the last video I thought you were losing weight. Great job❤. My 3 grandsons I raise go back to school on the 21st. Today, I just want to have the energy and motivation to get some cleaning done. I'm a 67 yr old, widow, with a major back disability so it prevents me from going strong (sometimes not at all). There's a farm over on Taylor Rd in Port Orange that I tried talking my dad into buying so we could all live on the property. Not only did I fall in love with the house (it reminds me of a mini Graceland) but it would be a perfect family Homestead. I'm also an only child for him and the property already has a main house and two additional apartments, so it would really benefit all of us. It would make it easier as he gets older that I can care for him when/if the time comes, plus a couple of my kids could stay in one of the apartments when they become adults. He contemplated for half a second until i showed him the price.😅

I hear you on the whole sink thing if there are things in there it makes the kitchen etc smell bad I always try to keep that clean & it’s really so satisfying for a sink clean 😊& I love your guys’s mindset for you kids when they get older, I still live at home with my parents it’s embarrassing sometimes for me bc I am an adult but I have my reasonings behind it & I learn to cope with it. I hope Bobby feels better and I know cheat days are everything and then we regret it. I love how he has a channel too and builds it with you still your family is just so sweet. Our vet gave us a medication controlled that issue so that she only went outside. Just thought I would share that. Also I don’t remember what it was called because she was on a few other meds. I would like to see more deep cleaning hacks! You inspired me with using the mop for the walls! I had never thought about that! Have you ever tried a steel wool pad on the backs of your pans. A light scrub works well to remove any build up. But be careful not to scratch them. Thank you for all the inspiration!!!

The kids in our neighborhood started school this past Tuesday. Seems earlier each year. Had surgery 4 weeks ago and finally feel like doing some of the things left unfinished, like patching some holes in the wall from an really old tv bracket that my son took down for me. I’m getting new floors in the whole house including the kitchen. I had to unhook my appliances (gas in the stove and dryer, so had a professional do it as I don’t want to mess with gas lines!) and then at the last minute my install date got moved by almost 3 weeks! So I have been without some of my appliances for over a week now. I’m dog sitting for my next door neighbor so thankfully I was able to do laundry over there, along with filling my jugs up with filtered water since my fridge water was unhooked. BUT, I was able pull my stove out completely and clean all the nasty spills down the side and clean up underneath it. I did my fridge, too, but I do get to that more frequently than any of the others based on where it is and how accessible it is. I want to pull out the washer and dryer and get all around and under those while they can be pulled out completely. My guest bedroom looks like a hoarder house because I moved so much stuff in there to clear the floor space, so I’m looking forward to getting these floors installed so I can FINALLY get my house back to normal. Also looking forward to setting up the robot vacuum I got (using your Amazon link) a month ago once the floors are in place!

I've worked at a school. They do that on purpose. If they have issues with start up, and they start on a Thursday, then they only have to get through 2 days, and they get the weekend to fix the issues before Monday. Sometimes we really need the weekend to figure out a big issue. Mostly with schedules and teacher assignments. It's like a trial run 😂

Hey! I’m from Belgium and we have the summer holiday in July and August. School always ends on June 30th and begins September 1st. It’s an easy system but as my husband and I both work fulltime out of the house, it’s a long period to arrange some sort of babysitting for the boys. Now, we have finally started our 3 weeks vacation time. But the first 5 weeks were a lot of planning for my 2 boys.

For Drake you can look at getting him these belly bands that help with the minor accidents he has. I had to get them for my senior husky for the same reason. I was able to get a 3 pack of them for $20-30 from Chewy. The best part is that they are reusable. just wash /dry them and they are ready to go. The only thing is to order the correct size. My husky measured in the medium but they just wasn't big enough so had to go up to the large. Hope this helps. Love your videos. There is always something about a deep clean/purge that I like before the start of a new school year. Its like the start of the new year. Fresh beginnings. It's a great way to set up for a great school year ahead. Even though I don't have kids or go to school myself there is just something about this time of year that I love knowing that the holiday season is getting closer. In western PA school starts 2 weeks before Labor Day.

I worked before all this had a social life now I’ve been absolutely terrified I have asthma so it was horrible hearing the news every day. Live in New Zealand and our summer months are December-February. The kids start their holidays from end of November/start of December for high school kids and mid December for intermediate and primary schools and they start the school year end of January and some start after which is feb 6. Definitely working on cleaning I started yesterday. Have to finish out cleaning out my fridge(something is stinky & it’s driving me crazy so it’s gotta go), go thru my front bathroom cabinet and clean it(so many products that I don’t really use ended up in there 🤪), I shampooed the rug in my dining room since my cat who is 20 decided the other day to relieve herself on it for who knows what reason, & lastly I need to dust my living room & vacuum.

I would love more deep cleaning hacks, although tbh I enjoy all your content so I'll watch regardless 😊. Today I deep cleaned my bathroom - I have very hard water here and struggle with limescale and water marks on my shower glass especially, and recently got some new products - one is a heavy duty cleaner for the glass which has worked fantastically well, and the other is a nanocoat product you put on the glass that is supposed to reduce the amount of cleaning required/make it easier to clean - so that went on today and we shall see how it works in guess. Also did the floors which is almost a daily requirement currently as I'm having some building work done and the dust and mud is everywhere! I'll be very glad when it's done, not least because then I'll finally have a proper laundry/utility room, which I'm ridiculously excited about 😂 Thanks for all you do, your videos are always great motivation and entertaining!

Another great video! You are an amazing homemaker. My heart goes out to you and your doggie Drake. We had our sweet husky mix Tank for 14 years and 8 months but lost him to bone cancer in January 2021. He had bladder issues towards the end too. Thank goodness for hard flooring that was easily cleaned. I think of him whenever I see or hear you mention Drake. That is such a great idea to purchase land where the whole family can reside. I have mentioned that to my adult kids who are having a heck of a time with housing and rent prices the way they are. At least $1000 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. Ridiculous!

Oh I’ve got lots to do but the big thing is to clear out space in my bedroom so that I can finally build my new wardrobe set but because of my MS I need to work up to it 😂 I did make a small start today sorting out all my tons of supermarket shopping bags that have multiplied so I now have them in my car to go to our local charity food larder and thrift shop :)

School starts on Sept. 6th here in Nova Scotia, usually gets out June 30th - (first term sept - jan, 2nd term jan -june). Holidays in Oct, Nov, 2 weeks off in Dec for xmas break, 1 week off for March Break, 3 days off Easter break).

My grandkids went back Wednesday. My niece and nephew started the last week of July. Crazy!!! You are definitely losing weight! So glad Bobby is feeling better and you are too!! I swear, my husband and I need this way of eating! I am having the very same issues as Bobby. Well, anything I eat makes me sick. My tests and biopsies are all normal thank God. But, it’s disheartening because I still have no answers!! Have a great weekend ❤❤❤
