I think Alain Silberstein should've colab more with brands/watchmakers. And for the watch itself, I'll appreciate it if it's smaller and got a solid caseback, or in cool Alain way, tinted blue sapphire caseback.

I really like the GPHG nominations of this year, I think there are some watches that will be future icons. I am not a fan of Silberstein's designs, but I like the white version more than the black one. Thanks for the review, will be waiting for more GPHG nominations :D

Love his watch! Really! Thanks for bringing him up, Marko. Truly one of many unsung hero of watchmaking in this era. His design is playful, fun, which inspired many watchmaker doing so, like who in the right mind putting a snoopy on the dial in early mid 2000s speedy, then Genta Disney, and many more, including the now your own Joker watch, Marko. And he's the first guy to make a sapphire as a watch case in serially produced watch in 1990s (Vincent Calabrese doesn't serially produced his sapphire cased watch, like a piece unique, so it didn't count), until the early 2010s Richard Mille Sapphire case craze, then Hublot and everyone follows, after 20+ years. Ah, and for MB&F, he made the HM2.2 Black Box, which is their first colab, not the Legacy Machine ones, which comes waay after and it's stunning to see it in person compared to the standard HM2. He's always being mocked up by collectors back then as his design was quite ahead of its time for purist in general, but truly, without him, watchmaking won't be as fun and whimsical as right now. I'm glad that younger generations can appreciate him more than he was used to back then. Would love to see more colab of him with another preferably serious watchmaker/manufacturer, perhaps him with patek, rolex, Cartier, Greubel Forsey, Kari, moritz grossmann, AP, etc, just to break the "serious, cold mood" of those brands.

Nice that they are a smaller company and people are supporting them but until you have owned one for 10 years or 20years you can not really judge them..by looking at it from a far they look ok and like you said playful and vibrant ! Quality and durability etc 🤷‍♂️..thanks bro 👍

I had another idea for a North Flag dial with a Falling Numbers Clock theme with the number 8 placed purses of the radius of the power reserve and diagonally so that it gives the appearance that it was kicked out of the radius when the numbers were falling by the power reserve’s hand.

Next review, quirky yet most complicated rolex in production now? Idk what's wrong with rolex designer mind to put the round cut-out for 24 hours disc tho, I'll say it, IT'S UGLY. I wonder why don't they took a more simpler solution like moser or indicate it with hands instead of disc ffs.

So you want them to do a GMT like everyone else? And btw...they already did what you were asking for with GMT Master II. I'm pretty far from being a Rolex guy, but if I was, The Skydweller would be it for me. Most complicated, and easily the most interesting dial/case combo Rolex makes.
