I lived with my grandfather from 2009 til 2015, on January 4th 2015 just 2 days before my birthday my father passed away, my grandfather was there for me and helped me so much, just 3 months later my grandfather went to hospital and spent 3 months in hospital while I tried my best to take care of his flat(apartment) and his bills and visit him every other day, on July 15th the same year (2015) my grandfather passed away peacefully in hospital, this song was beautiful and brought back some wonderful memories. I hope you'll consider checking out "black stone cherry - the things my father said" it's a beautiful song too

This song makes me tear up every time I hear it... Makes me think of my family that has passed on. I miss my Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa... the 3 people that raised me. Losing loved ones really sucks but these guys made a beautiful song to help those of us that have lost loved ones cope and carry on. The Dropkick Murphys have my respect and appreciation.

Dropkick Murphys does a show every St. Patrick's Day. They did a virtual one last year, and yeah, it's not the same as it would be live, but they put on a hell of a show. They'll probably do one this year. Highly recommend watching live. 😘🍀

Dropkick Murphys are amazing!! Definitely one of their slower more heartfelt songs. They are a famous irish punk band. Lots of fun and energetic songs too! Flogging Molly is another band to check out.
