Tony, appreciate your attitude towards cleanliness that some people just don't care about. Love the gear you wear, but you're alway outfitted well. Thanks for the vids.

Hey Tony I'm kinda new to your page but now I'm addicted!! I use to go crabbing all the time before my husband passed last year! I live on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville...I know nobody gives there honeycomb hideouts but can you just give me 1 spot I can try at it again?! I would highly appreciate it!!! Much Love!

Man I went to that spot last week for the first time cause of your videos, and my first throw with a brand new cast net got stuck on that bench in the water I was so pissed off I didn't know what it was I thought it was a log. Got my net back after about 30 minutes of messing with it with a nice 6 inch hole in it
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
Dang!!! I started to get the bench up, but I don't want my grappling hook to get stuck. Suction probably holding bench tightly.

Hey Tony. What month do you stop crabbing? I'm planning to try next weekend. I hope the temperature is still good to catch some crab. Your video is awesome.
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
I really don't stop. I keep trying. Just with no luck. Cold months are bad. Late November- March probably the worst. Depends on water temperatures.
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
I try. Thanks for watching!

You need to get you one of those pick up things so you don’t have to touch the trash. I keep one in my truck with me

Tony, why don't you use a blue crab for bait and catch a big red? Throw a small one on. Also go jaguars from Pittsburgh.
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
Yeah I just be trying to spare the little fellas, lol. I will do it next time. It's was always the Jags!!!

Hey Tony how's it going if you ever watched outdoors with Sam and Joyce I did the corner old couple outdoors you got to see that man throw a 12 ft cast nest especially when it goes shrimping he does a lot of shrimping and crabbing He's good at throwing that big ass net 😆👍👍👍✌️

I would die to know where you got that landing net. I can't seem to find nets with long handles and also a skinny rim for crabbing from shore.

How's crabbing in November
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
Depends on water temps. Slow or nothing if cold.

Tony is that bracket water or are you closer to Atlantic Beach, or can I catch these out in belle glade/ loxahatchee?
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
Closer to Atlantic, but just test the location. Brackish water is fine for catching blue crabs.

Hi Tony! Fun video. I loved Mr. Rusty. What a big guy. Question: Since you went home to watch the ball game and then went back out to crab again later, what did you do with the crabbies you caught at the first site? Did you put them on ice? I'm still quite new to this and wondered what one would do in a situation where they wind up going out twice? Also, great job, cleaning up that area! You're such a good example! Have a blessed week!
@CrabbingWithTony Жыл бұрын
Yeah I actually use the 2 blue ice packs you see in my cooler. Crabs will last a good while. Just don't freeze, suffocate, or drown them in fresh ice water. Thanks.
@happyroots9672 Жыл бұрын
Use blue crab, take off the legs, cut in half or quarters, hook it thru the leg hole, best free bait for reds, black drum and sheepshead!
