I just used my Istoyo mixer for the first time yesterday. It worked well with 12 ounces of casting resin. I used the AI option. No bubbles. I'm ecstatic!

It is a wait as, depending on which mold(s) you purchased, a lot of their molds are handmade, which takes longer. The wait is so worth it!!! Their molds are exquisite ❤

Hi Linda, I'm so sorry for the REALLY late reply. I'm hoping that you got the mold that you ordered and are happy with it. I don't usually order the pre-made molds, usually just the ones that are handmade. They do take up to several weeks to arrive sometimes, but I really like the quality and the unique molds that I can't find anywhere else. What are your thoughts? I hope all is well.. miss you all and hope to be back next week! (Thank you for reminding me that I need to mention that the molds take a while to receive!)

Beautiful ❤❤ Is it a book end? That's what it reminds me of. Yes you have to have patience with deep pour it takes about 48 hours to cure. Your mixer has that AI feature that automatically mixes for 4 minutes, just turn the mixer on and then press the AI button and let it work for you. Definitely missed ya, but I understand life keeps lifing as I say😂, take care!

Not sure if ur aware but the mixer has an A/I feature so u press the A/I button for 3-4 seconds, & it will mix it automatically for 4 Min alternating the paddle direction & will shut off automatically after alarm sounds, letting u know it’s finished. When it’s done mixing u can hang it up & allow it to drip off onto the silicone mat then clean the paddle off when ur done ur project😊

I just bought this mold last month… I’ve made and sold 10 of these! I turned mine into a night light and I’m making a video of it for my first KZbin. Video… I just came across your video… the only other one I have seen besides mine… it’s a beautiful mold but man! Lots of work! lol’ I ended up casting my powders ;tree/leaves , with UV resin before pouring Edit: so something ended up getting in my resin last night… so it’s ruined! UGH! But it is for an order request, so I’m gonna try again but using your idea on painting the leaves & trunk after I pour and demold. Did you ever end up trying it that way?

How would you protect the powder on the backside? I could just see someone scratching the color out if it’s not sealed or protected.

Great question, Laura! I think it would have to be really intentional for someone to try to scratch off the powder. They'd need something sharp and narrow to get in there. :)

Be careful with the alcohol. You’re not supposed to use it on the molds from Into Resin. They do not recommend it at all
