Wow, it happened to me! Were my crab pots stolen?

in 10 years of crabbing in the puget sound, I have never had a crab pot go.missi g until now.

Yeah, likewise. I did get a call on the second from a guy letting me know he found hust the bouys. Line snapped. I told him he can paint and reuse as I reolaced one setup already.

I have seen that happen sometimes the tide Rips and the pot drifts away. Hopefully the other one will show up!

@johnhobbs7697 Yeah, wild because when we sat on them the didnt move but left and on Monday, they were gone! I'm happy to be reunited with one anyway.

Where is the best spot for crabbing in MA11 because it was the first time me and my dad went to tacoma for crabbing. We usually go to redondo, but we decided to try out tacoma. We went to maury island. But we got all red rocks. So where is the best spot for crabbing in marine area 11?

If you haven’t already, you might want to do a “derelict” gear report with wdfw. That way they won’t come after you if they are found on a. Non-crabbing day.
