WoW : Jesse's Guild - ONE's LVL 1 Fun Run Event

Jesse's guild ONE takes time off from raiding to host a Fun Run event for guildies with great prizes. It lasted all night, but this is by far the best part. So much lvl 1 death!

I was checking out the clip on Jesse's fun run when I saw this comment; and you're correct, one word can have several meanings. I happened to stumble across a similar word when I was studying a college textbook where the word used was, parsimonious. I wasn't clear on the definition so I looked it up and another word was used to describe its meaning; niggardly. I said "WHAT?" Niggardly; Adj. - petty or reluctant in giving or spending; "a niggardly tip". And that is our grammar lesson for the day.

I find it funny that the original Twitch video seems to have disappeared into the aether, so this is literally the only remnant that remains that shows that this event even occurred in the first place.

@SBTiska oh, i dont know then. But im not sure if you turn into it, there was a glitch for some drakes/dragons where your body was inside them whilst riding it. Im not sure if its been patched or not.

i remember i done this with my guild back in march, it was a level 1 gnome race from teldrasil al the way to SW on foot, and you had to go down to booty bay to get across the water, was amazing, the winner got 100k gold was the best ever!

@sk8erboi68 Thats the black and yellow one. I mean the blue one. The one im on about is the blue one, much bigger than Vial of Sands, has horns and stuff. Think its from legendary staff quest chain, but whats it called? Im assuming you turn into it, since I didnt see a rider.

@SeedofCreed either the Tyragosa's staff or the alch potion that makes you a drake will both turn you into a dragon. I think that was Tyragosa's staff though.

The way that all the level 1s are running to one area while the local wildlife kills them, and the officers making bets on who is going to live and get there first reminds me of the movie Freerunner.

When I first started WoW back in Pre-Bc, I tried ghost running my lvl 14 tauren warrior from the barrens all the way to Stranglethorn. I soon learned about the "return to the Graveyard near where you died" thing.

MMO's have been encouraging players to make their own fun since the early 80's that part of the game design has not changed and its not a bad thing either. Thats a point of a game in a freeroam world without restraints.

True eliashedlund, i thought WoW was the most fun when i was still a nab, not knowing about the flying paths or boat, and just walking evrywhere, trying to get from redridge mountains to loch modan on foot, trough badlands and searing gorge and all that shit there as lvl 20 :D dieng all the time but getting closer evry respawn, staying up all night and finally getting there :) The most fun i ever had in the game

@Psytosiis you do see it. These guys weren't flying too high to miss anything. Not like we haven't seen it all before. After years of running/using a ground mount to go to instances over and over, you just want to get to your destination faster. And if this makes you sad why not do the same? Although I hardly believe you ever went anywhere important on foot unless there was no way to avoid it.
