honestly I don't care you go back and fourth if you want to say something if people want you to watch the video without saying anything should go watch the original video, the only thing I see is that you might miss to global picture of the video if you stop and go back etc... In my opinion you should just do it how you would do it if your friend was showing you a video and he is watching you do it, you should do it how it feels natural to you.
