What's you're missing in your discussion of Colossus Smash is that because of the Tactician passive, Slam, Whirlwind, and Execute all have a chance to reset the Colossus Smash cooldown. One of the artifact talents (Focus in Battle) allows Mortal Strike to also reset the Colossus Smash cooldown, and another artifact ability (Exploit the Weakness) causes your Mortal Strike and Execute crits to each extend Colossus Smash's uptime by 1 second per crit. That feeds into Battle Cry, which gives you an additional 100% to crit on everything for 5 seconds. TL;DR - Properly played, Arms can get a loooooooooot of Colossus Smash uptime.

I think cuddle was just pointing out that people might be enthusiastic because they are anticipating better CS uptime as they fill out their artifact weapons.

I just think with every Warrior spec they don't need bug crazy effects and particles the warrior should look more real with its attacks cause the idea is that we aren't using magic we are just swinging a big a sword

+xenoblad no it's on Azeroth, Broxigar's neice (though not Varok's daughter) used it to destroy Xavius' tree form in one of the novels ("Stormrage" I think).

+Victor Törner They're not "redoing" the novel. The events there still happened. It's just a... sequel of a sort. If they were both movies (Stormrage and the Nightmare storyline in Legion) they'd be shitty sequels because it's the same story happening twice, but they're not movies, so it's okay.

Hmm, cool... but I really want Arms' focus to return to a more wrath-centric concept for PvP. In WOTLK it was all about managing globals, rage and stance dancing to make choices between instant TFB proc overpower damage versus catching casters with an overpower to stack up Unrelenting Assault with MS. Defensive utility was cool too with shield slam dispel and shield block revenge spam for dealing with other melee, that and disarming important enemy melee cooldowns. Bladestorm used to actually play the role of the CC-immune finisher move after setting up a good interrupt OR Unrelenting Assault (75% MS) with a fresh Rend / MS rolling. I liked that more than just trying to spam execute I guess. Also like everyone else in the game has caught up to Arms with mobility, they're not really the mobility niche melee anymore. Rogues and WWs and DH's are all there, sounds like Rets are getting a port too. Bleh, nothings final, we'll see.

You need to more carefully read these descriptions, Titanic Might says "Increases the duration of Colossus Smash BY 200%, but halves its effectiveness". If it said "...TO 200%..." what your saying might be true. This means that its duration is TRIPLED not doubled, effectively giving it an overall 50% increase to its effect.

One thing I'm worried about for Legion, is future expansions, I know its early on but I just feel like this whole artifact weapons thing is not gonna be as fun down the road, I feel like using the best weapons in all of Azeroth; Doomhammer, Shards of Frostmourne, etc. will get old in future expansions. I feel like doing this kinda puts WoW on a path where they'll eventually stop, which isn't very fun

It's really lame that they're recycling so many of the artifact quests between each other. Also, I'm probably in the minority here but I'm not a fan of the warrior class hall. It just plays off of the assumption that everyone knows what Valhalla is IRL. It has no real connection to warriors in the warcraft setting or lore other than the connections they invented for this expansion. Also its architecture makes me think of Paladins more than Warriors. Some sort of fortress or gladiator compound or something would have made a lot more sense, in my opinion.
