Wow! The superhero commercials bring back so many memories from my childhood. I even had The Lizard and Captain America. My cousin had The Mighty Thor. He was hard to find then. It was really awesome when they released the 12 inch versions of Hulk, Superman and Spider-man. I also had The Six Million Dollar Man with the "Bionic Grip". HAHA!!!

I was right there with you !! I wish I had ALL the toys from my childhood { I have some, but not all !! } I still have 99 % of the books, comic books, and paperbacks from those days however !!

#thesilencer1969 You are rich beyond your wildest dreams then, if you still have those comics and books. Sadly, my mom tossed all my 1st editions and everything else when I joined the military. X-Men, Spiderman, Fantastic 4, Weird War... all 1st editions and consecutive through 2 years, in good to mint condition. Now rotted away in some landfill. :'(

Oh, man, just seeing "Repto" again made me smile. I didn't have many micronauts, but I loved that one. And I used that spinning blade hand as a "Cutter" on my Matchbox sized Mach 5 ripoff car.

"Falcon - The Winged Black Superhero!" That was brilliant advertising. I wouldn't have had any idea the character was black if the announcer hadn't pointed it out.

Micronauts kicked ass and so did the Mego "World's Greatest Super Heroes" figures.

They showeded the astronauts playing Electronic Battleship well up until 1980 as I remember. I still laugh at the one guy who says "YOU SANK MY BATTLESHIP!" and looks like he's about to cry. :-D

The Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica figures were cool too. I had the Flash Gordon figures too with Thun The Lion Man.

My brother and I had the Rocket Tubes set. It worked the first time we set it up, but after taking them apart and putting them together again, the stiff plastic pieces had too many air gaps. After taping together all the tubes to seal up gaps, it sorta worked again, but not going up walls. I love Micronauts, but that set sucked.

Check out "Twisted Toyfare Theater". All of the Mego super-hero dolls are used in it, and it was created Matt Seinrich and Tom Root, 2 of the geniuses responsible for "Robot Chicken"

Believe it or not. The MICRONAUTS had a pretty acclaimed 70's/80's Marvel comic w/ Butch Guice and Mike Mignola (HELLBOY) as artists!
