We don't find many in north Lancashire so it's a great feeling when they pop up. Makes up for all the ring pulls and bits of lead! Still all goes in the scrap buckets for a bit of loose change! Happy hunting and watch out for those gold nuggets!

They certainly do add up this week over quarter of a tonne melted scrap. Save everything and treasure hunting every hole is like Christmas morning

I googled that oval one. The nearest I can see is a Roman fertility item. Represents the vagina. Another great haul, Nigel. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait for the revisit to the site.
