You have to believe in yourself first before you believe in others.

Wish Terrance Howard would put himself into a character who treasures and protects his loved ones rather than abuses them.

I hope so.

... re the "ego death" thing Historically, our egos supported survival. In many ways, they kept us separated. Through evolution, these survival needs changed. While we continue letting these ego states run our choices, behaviours etc, we continue to perpetuate the illusion of separation, often reacting from unrecognised wounds, guarding a fragile ego .... Until there's "ego death" experience(s). I don't think ego "dies" necessarily, as in ceases to be, but more-so changes its role - learns to step aside, question itself, broaden perspectives etc, over time perhaps learning to align with, and support, perception of things much bigger & deeper (e.g. enabling peeling away of layers/blocks to our authenticity & awareness of unity). A healthy, happy ego is actually a helpful tool, but sometimes perhaps a beast requiring monitoring & managing! (in both directions). Thanks for the read 🙏

Do you believe in your spirit that is with you now.

I got a Terrance Howard video recommended, but it was distasteful to my sensibilities because of his history of abusing women. How can I take a man seriously as a spiritually aware and emotionally honest person when they have a history of abusing women? Most Hollywood actors are narcissistic anyways, but his flaws seem bigger than a simple elevated sense of self, and thus are too dark and toxic for me to wade through in the hopes of finding some gold.

I don't know. I wasn't aware of that history with him. I know he is a brilliant man, but I can sense a lack of empathy with him. We heal over time, so it is best not to judge where someone is at now versus what they have done in the past. Everyone moves from darkness to light in different ways. I hope that helps.
