Hi Tyler, the pot is old porcelain wear. Sometimes a pot like this was used for a night pot to keep from going to the outhouse in the dark.

Always so many great finds. I think that iron is is one of the first electric irons. A cord plugged into those two prongs at the back.

I keep saying that those hubcaps and that hood look like they came off cars and trucks from the 30's and 40's and here you show the Du Pont video from the 30's!! And that cigarette lighter was an amazing find!! ✌🐢

It’s for vacuuming,except there was a tray underneath that caught the dirt, it had two brushes, that as you rolled it it would sweep up the dirt, my GRANDMOTHER had one !!

@@rubywilkins8846 Yeah, restaurants would use these a lot, back in the day when eating areas were carpeted. Nowadays most restaurants use tiled stone floors and ordinary sweepers. It's definitely a lot more sanitary and less apt to draw bugs.

Tyler, I believe that pipe with the wires is an electrical weatherhead that supplies electricity from the grid to the house rooftop. I think the item you pulled out at 4:25 might be part of it. Might be a whole house collapsed in that river! Honestly, that historical content from DuPont was what sets you apart. Truly fascinating.

I actually deal with train turbochargers where I work. I check them in. Then they get torn down and the parts will be cleaned up, qualified, and reassembled. Then on to testing, paint, and finally back to me to pack them up to ship back out.

6:00. That is a carpet sweeper. It had brushes and would sweep up into its tray. You just ouch back and forth. . But these pretty much picked up dirt and deposited in another area. Don’t blame someone for tossing into river. lol.

At 12:30; the shaft looks like a pulley would go on the end that has a grove in it. The groove looks a wood drift key would go into the groove to hold something in place on the shaft.

The cap looking thing with the tabs on it is actually a small hub cap for a red wagon of olden days....well maybe not that olden!

That Dupont thing contained a ammonium nitrate based explosive. Since Oklahoma City the fertilizer ammonium nitrate has been highly regulated as it is very very easy to turn into the explosive. My local farm bureau has to keep it under lock and key these days.
