Very beautiful! My crossvine is one of my favorites! The first year I had mine, it accidentally got cut with a string trimmer, but it came back. So they hard very vigorous, and low maintenance.

I have one and it’s still sleeping a little but it was just planted last September. Thank you for mentioning the length of time it took to see this many blooms. I’m just curious if you fertilize it and if so how often.

Thank you for this video. How is your cross vine doing at this time (3/20/24)? I may have to find this plant for my yard.

I am extremely sad that they only bloom twice a year. Other videos said only in the SPring. Does it bloom twice for you and how long each period? Thnak you so much

Is this considered trumpet vine?? campsis radicans?

Hi Mark. The tangerine beauty cross vine is considered a cousin to the trumpet vine. (Not the same but they so look similar) Here are some ways to distinguish between the two: Foliage - Crossvine is evergreen or semi-evergreen. Trumpet vine is deciduous. Crossvine has compound leaves that are split into two parts. Trumpet vine has leaves that are opposite, pinnately compound, coarsely toothed, and composed of 7, 9, or 11 leaflets. Having said all that I think I want to go buy a second one now 😀
