Had mine since the PRO4X first came out, 2021, it has done 60,000kms and hasn’t missed a beat so far, goes off-road tows the caravan and does the daily. A great Ute.

I've had my Pro-4x for coming up to a month and it's pretty decent. You'll be pleased to know that my vehicle, which is precisely like the one you reviewed, does not call the city home. Actually I live in the bush, surrounded by NP, down a dirt track and across a creek. I have it for a reason. And that is dependable wheels for the family.

Hey mate have you checked of found any rust on under chassis? All weld areas? Mine is full of rust on weld areas

It is a solid car and for most of us who like a good mix of old a new tech, this is very appealing. My wife owns one and we both feel confident she is safe and can tackle most of any terrain condition.

Sounds like the right Ute for you then!

Its tricky situation. the markets are full with "Bakkies" as we call them here in South Africa. However, i think for me this one ticks more boxes. They not supposed to be life style based, hence, SUVs and Station wagons are there for that. These were supposed to be work horses able to go wherever and even if you would like bring you income (transport business). I think for its money, it presents good value. i dont mind a dated cabin and more of a utilitarian bakkie, as long as it does what it says "on the box", great!

I wouldn't go 20k km service intervals. i suggest 10k km at most.

I just want to let everyone know to those who are planning to buy navara to check the chassis for rust as i just recently bought a brandnew navara and its horrible all the weld area are full of rust. Im still waiting for response for from nissan australia as they are relying on the report from dealer. This is very clear that there is failure in dealer with regards to pre delivery inspection. I regret buying navara and im not proud owning of it.

I personally found the steering to be pretty light for its size

Is it really leather inside? And a city car? At it's size? It wouldn't fit into most garages or car parks I'd say. Also I just don't get why these would be a family car either. Stashing all the luggage in the tray (which isn't that big) when a wagon or SUV offers more room. Can it tow? I'm sorry but I don't get the allure of dual cabs. They do nothing well.

Being a tradie vehicle makes more sense. Family/city car as suggested is ridiculous.

We mustn't forget that when used as a life style vehicle, these trucks play a very important societal role. They help people who feel diminutive to feel a little bigger.

It would certainly fit in most garages or car parks, my ranger has a 3 inch lift with 33 inch tyres and it still fits in most of these things

Man, ur 2024 interior dashboard of RHD Navarra is outdated!! The new interior dashboard design for 2024 (LHD market) is identical to nissan Terra, wireless carplay and adroid auto, plus more soft touch and cleaner looks.

Why does the Australian Navara still have the 2.3L instead of the 2.5L?
@timdavis2222 ай бұрын
The twin turbo 2.3 (YS23) engine is a newer generation than the older single turbo 2.5 (YD25) engine that was seen in the D40 locally. The YS23 meets the current emission requirements in Australia where I believe the YD25 would not. Noting that Australian emission requirements are more stringent than in South Africa.
@PapaSeBakkie2 ай бұрын
@@timdavis222 it’s interesting though that we had the YS23 for the initial D23 but with the facelift they did away with the YS23 due to reliability issues and went to a revised version of the YD25

Because the 2.3 is much better mine has 221,000 ks treat it rough and still goes great

I own it: If you put auto lights you can't bright it manually. Bad about it. dashboard is really not appealing. No steering riches. Sound system is bad 👎. Seat doesn't adjust much. No space to put phones. No cup holders on dashboard. Cupholders cannot hold cups(they are too big) Good about it Head lights are best. It drives smoothly than some SUV. Is not slow. Outside is extremely beautiful. Easy to get extras If you once owned D40 you will be extremely disappointed by D23.
@tsakitx81902 ай бұрын
I own a D40, can you explain why I would be disappointed with the d23?
@isayamukondeleli81202 ай бұрын
@tsakitx8190 overall interior materials are not great compared to the latest bakkies, Please check New Navara at Philippines is the one you can wait for it, is a latest face-lift of the current one.
