There are few out there with the v6, after personalizing it so much over the past 5 years I don't think I can get another one. I have only seen maybe two - three 22+ Frontier's on the road, one of which had the leds, was a Pro4x, they have an unmistakable menacing appearance in-person. After riding along with you in this video, I think I know what my next truck will be. These trucks look more proportionate with the 6.5ft bed. I wish they had 4ft between the wheel wells, though. @@ryanfitzgerald7054I can definitely see the appeal of the crew cab, I have family that would have a need for and choose that combination, but I'm with you.... for my empty nester needs, the King Cab would do the trick most of the time, especially as a second vehicle. People that complain about the combination of long bed and crew cab - need to realize "it is what it is." Of course it's going to take more to park. It's also going to take more strategizing in particularly challenging off-road situations. You make adjustments... and sometimes just don't go there! Bought it new, still has it, and she has a farm, beat the breaks off of it and it's still going strong! Almost 500,000 miles on it. Just my opinion though. @@Brownlightning1990 I live in a rural area, and I feed a wood stove, plus many other outdoor activities. So needless to say, I travel many miles on pothole infested dirt roads. I've owned a lot of trucks in my life. My favorite was a 2007 Dodge Dakota with the 4.8 , but living in Lubec Main, rust took it (should have under coated it) I traded it in for a used 2010 SV Frontier in 2012, lost the rear end in 2016,I liked it so I traded it in for a brand new 2017 pro 4x because I thought I would be better on dirt roads, and after 3 years and 12500 miles the transmission went and I had to get it towed from a mud hole 20 miles down a dirt path, had an issue with the dealer so I sold that and bought a 2015 Taco (pretty much paid for with the little I made selling the Pro 4x) with 21000 miles on it. So far so good. Next Truck will be full sized, because as old as I am I'm still learning :) and I think a full size will take the punishment of these logging roads better. So the moral of this story is "Better" depends on how you use it and where you live.

Rumor is... Nissan changing up the Frontier in 2026 with hybrid-plugin options, etc. Not sure if the V6 naturally aspirated (NA) engine will be available next year. I find it interesting that many people grumbled over higher prices on mid-size trucks this year in 2024. Nissan is now on par with Toyota prices for the most part. Guess the new norm will be close to $50,000 for a decent upgraded package on a mid-sized truck. The US Government will get their final say on the longevity of naturally aspirated engines governed by tighter and tighter emissions laws and regulations. Personally, I feel NA engines are on borrowed time due to greenhouse gas emissions. Nissan, like most automakers, are struggling financially as a whole. We will see if Nissan cuts corners in quality later down the road to save in their financial expenditures.

Not for 50k I can get a ford f 250 with 6.8 v8 4x4 xl package crew cab with the off-road package 53 to 56k range😅
@nowayoutstp4Ай бұрын
Just drive my 24 TB w/3 liter and I’m averaging 27mpg over 8k miles so far I mean why would anyone buy anything else 😂 I routinely get 30-40mpg it’s insane.

Those wheels are like Beyblades... Ew. The Tacoma looks proper with the 6-footer.
@erickisel8668Ай бұрын
You can probably save a couple of grand without the sport bar and nerf bars. Truck looks much better without them.
@wittwericАй бұрын
But a 980 payload is about the lowest I’ve seen. Only extreme off-road packages are that low.
@briandonaldАй бұрын
980 lbs payload? if you put 4 hefty-sized adults in there, not leaving much room to put stuff in that long bed.
@RobertWill-uq3ivАй бұрын
Oh my God! I'll miss Toyota. But what are you gonna do? Nissan's vehicles are all just great! Who knows sarcasm when they hear it?
@Z-BartАй бұрын
Seriously didn't think I would live long enough to see 50K for a mid sized truck. Nice looking though.
@AlexAlex-gs1xhАй бұрын
Bro u know nothing 50k is affordable for a truck a fully loaded camry awd is 46k then 50k for this is justified.
@Z-BartАй бұрын
@@AlexAlex-gs1xh I know I respect my elders. You should too.

Make a damn xterra replacement asap in a pro4x

Looked at one a couple days ago. The backseat is such a joke, it was a deal killer.
@nelegion9596Ай бұрын
Why not enough room?😂
@shawnmc7719Ай бұрын
So what midsized truck backseat is spacious?
@joseramos7476Ай бұрын
Nissan should make the titan like this.
@DirtShyАй бұрын
Frontier over the Tacoma, it's a no brainier. Go Nissan
@shawnmoore8781Ай бұрын
I bought one this year but would have gone with the long bed were it available at the time. Hmm...honey you need a new vehicle.
@robertharold2503Ай бұрын
I’ve had three frontiers..almost bought another but I’m concerned about Nissans financial situation.
@AlexAlex-gs1xhАй бұрын
Buy another they are in a very good spot.
@Blue-moon12Ай бұрын
You're worrying about nothing!Nissan are not going anywhere
@ryangregoharaАй бұрын
I mean the difference is that the guy that drives a Tacoma is saying “I’ve had 1 Tacoma”….not 3.
@justinstiff5641Ай бұрын
Not as proportionate looking as the short bed? Wow .
@rorygillmore6555Ай бұрын
50K for not even 1000 payload? Oof. The problem with Nissan that has always made people go Toyota, has been reliability. Although if your towing or driving with any weight then I don't know how much better the 4cyl turbo will treat you over the 6. 😅
