I was just cleaning out a drain and found one doing the same thing. Uncovered it and scared me a little because it shot out of the hole and wash slithering away really fast like a snake.

I thought it was a snake when I first saw it but it eventually went back to crawling like a normal earthworm. I kept poking it on the tail to make it crawl like a snake again for the video... or no one would have believed it 😄
