I agree. Reed took the early rounds easy. But he got too confident and let Tito do his thing. And Tito did what he does best; destroy. If Reed stayed on the outside and kept using his footwork the outcome might have been different. Great fight and fighters either way.
@Chupacabra_46 ай бұрын
@@guyincognito9919he was never going to be Able to keep Tito off him the whole fight. Only ppl that were able to beat u had to be way way bigger and be one of the best defensive guys ever(Winky). For example Hopkins started his career at 175 while Tito was a 147 pounder. Roy won a belt at heavy. No one beat Tito below 160🤷🏽♂️

Tito was such a dirty fighter. Whenever he got hurt or knocked down he would hit u in the balls
@Hector-cn3rvАй бұрын
Wth are u talking about!? When youre in a punch flurry its not intentional! If the other boxer thinks it is then its easy to just punch him back in the balls! Plus they get 5 mins to recover if they want. Tito had the best left hook and stamina in that era. ALWAYS kept coming for u and never ran from any fighter in that squared circle. He was left out of the Olympics and turned pro and beat all other 4 olympians that were chosen to Olympics and was the BEST 147 in the world. No one has ever matched what he did! So Stop it with your nonsense! In his 20th pro bout he stopped Maurice Blocker in two rounds to capture the IBF welterweight crown. Fifteen successful defenses - 12 by knockout - followed including wins over Hector Camacho (W 12), Yory Boy Campas (TKO 4), Oba Carr (TKO 8), Rodney Moore (TKO 4), Freddie Pendleton (KO 5), Pernell Whitaker (W 12) and Oscar de la Hoya (W 12). Trinidad moved up in weight to win the WBA super welterweight title from David Reid (W 12) on March 3, 2000 and later that year he unified titles with a 12th round TKO over IBF champion Fernando Vargas. In 2001 “Tito” became a three-division champion with a 5th round TKO over William Joppy for the WBA middleweight title. After meeting Bernard Hopkins in the finals of 2001’s Middleweight World Championship Series (L 12) for the unified middleweight championship, he bounced back to score wins over Hacine Cherifi (TKO 4) and Ricardo Mayorga (TKO 8). Following losses to Winky Wright (L 12) and Roy Jones Jr. (L 12), “Tito” retired with a professional ledger of 42-3 (35 KOs). One of boxing’s brightest superstars in the 1990s and 2000s, Trinidad is revered in his native Puerto Rico. Trained throughout his career by his father, Felix Sr., the charismatic Trinidad was a dynamic puncher, particularly with his explosive left hook.
