Great video bro it really helped me get setup. But just FYI in case someone else has this problem. At 0:43 when he tell you to go to output make sure the “output mode” drop-down is set to “advanced”. Mine was set to simple and I was freaking out. Again great vid!

Short and to the point, thanks! For anyone watching this that is still using an old version of OBS for whatever reason (I use 27.2.4 because it's the latest one that works properly with Destiny 2), you won't have Application Audio Capture under Sources. To get that same functionality, you need the free plugin "win-capture-audio", then just follow what he does in this video but with that plugin. Cheers.

You would have to mute the whole game then for the vod, uncheck number 6 on the game audio in advanced properties

My problem is that Application audio capture does not work. i put it on spotify and it detects nothing from it. But when I unmute Audio output capture it detects the music from spotify and the sounds from whatever game I am playing and streaming. i don't know why Application Audio capture refuses to work for me.
